In the middle of nowhere, this gem exists. Sure, you hear Wind Lake and just assume it must be a…read moredingy dated townie liquor store that just carries a limited selection of Keystone Light, Jägermeister, Lime-A-Rita's and corn chips. Yet somehow Aman's puts every liquor store in the 5-county Milwaukee metropolitan area to shame. Aman's has a brand new building with ample parking outside and in side boasts wide aisles, bright lighting, and massive selection of craft beer, liquor, wine, mead, cigars, cocktail mixers and more including amazing store picks of whiskey, rye, bourbon and even cognac. The selection is so great that I regularly take the 16 mile drive to Aman's just to see what he has brought in. Plus, the pricing is solid, especially compared to some of the other "raved" liquor stores. Those store picks? They have included Old Forester Single Barrel, Journeyman Distellery Featherbone Rye and Bourbon, Whistlepig 12 Year Rye, Jack Daniels barrel proof, Eagle Rare, Hudson Whiskey Baby Bourbon, Buffalo Trace and so much more. Aman has well trained palette and has solid picks. It's hard to walk in and not grab one (or two). Plus, and this is a huge plus, is The Terrace. Upstairs above the coolers is what I consider the best kept secret of high ends bars. I've never seen such a great collection of bourbon, scotch, rye, Japanese whiskey, rum, cognac, and wine at such reasonable prices. Plus, there is small bust tasty cocktail menu, a great selection of tap craft beer and Aman's is the only place you will find Pip's Meadery handcrafted meads on tap besides the meadery itself. Interested in one of the store picks but looking for a taste first? Head to the Terrace for a pour and you'll be sold. I almost regret letting this secret out, but Aman deserves all the business he can get. Aman's is kind of like my Target. I go in for just one thing and end up with a trunk full. Make the trip to Aman's, you will not be disappointed.

What can you say? From the fish itself, to the accompaniments like the clam chowder, to desserts like the flourless chocolate cake, all the food is great. Top it all off with some of the lowest prices around (especially drink prices - as in martinis for $7!) and you've got a real winner! Venture out to Waterford for the Cruise. You won't regret it!

It had very mild flavor with thin piece of cod. It didn't seem to be homemade more likely purchased that way and just cooked on-site. The baked cod came out very hot in the dish it was cooked in. The seasoning had very mild flavor. The potato pancakes were good but again not homemade. They provided a nice serving of applesauce; that had very good flavor. We both liked the coleslaw. It was made with diced cabbage that was seasoned well. Our server did a good job. She was very attentive and provided refills of our beverages without being prompted. We love the facility. Nice large bar, both high top and regular height tables inside. Also a large outdoor patio with another bar, tent area with tables, and more tables on the open air part of the patio. They also have live music most weekends.

When I ordered I even said no pickles. I do NOT like pickles and all the pickle juice on my plate or sandwich! Well the sandwich came and it had Thick Sliced Pickles. It always ruins the meal for me. It's always SO loud there. It will be a while if we decide to return.

They have multiple large TV's strategy placed so if you want to watch a game it's great for that. They have both high-top and regular height tables with the major regular height. We tried the Pot roast dinner, Mushroom Swiss burger, and the chicken dumplings soup. The soup had excellent flavor and was homemade. Only wish it had more dumplings. The Pot roast dinner came with three large, thick pieces of beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, and carrots. Everything was very good and something that I would order again. One part of burger patty was a little over done but the rest was much better. Ordered medium and it was more medium well but still very tasty and delicious. Our server was amazing and took great care of us. Also got to meet Mike, assistant GM, and really enjoyed talking with him. They have a large parking lot and I believe you can also pull up in your boat. Only recommendation I would have for them is the handicapped parking spaces are on the west side of the entrance and the handicapped ramp is on the east side of the entrance. Would be nice if they were on the same side of the entrance. Highly recommend Doc's on the Fox!

One of us was wearing a mask, for personal reasons, even tho it's state mandated and we all should, she was the only one including the workers(we did not say anything about no one else wearing a mask). We ordered a drink and could tell the bartender was having a hard time serving us because of the mask. She proceeded to tell my friend she needed to educate herself and that she will not die if she takes it off. (so glad to know a wind lake bartender is "educating" customers and giving out medical advice.) We continued to tell her its a personal preference but she threw a piece of paper at her with lists of reasons NOT to wear a mask. Meanwhile, the owner is standing there and condoning the entire experience. I understand everyone has their own beliefs, but no one in our group was making a big deal about people not wearing a mask. I can't believe someone, especially an employee & an owner, would make a customer feel so uncomfortable about actually wearing one. We immediately left.
