Local pub decided to try it since we were in the area. The wings were good and the beers were as well. They're definitely military/veteran oriented which was nice. Spacious place and I liked the atmosphere. Plenty of TV's to enjoy sports. They have pool tables if you're looking for physical activities too. Friendly and good service too!

Owner came up to us & offered us a pitcher of beer. We said no. Still brought us 2. And charged for both pitchers. That in itself, I'm out.

This was the new restaurant of the week after finding out that the Saturday prime rib starts at 11…read moream. The place is divy and dated looking with a bar and restaurant with two small dining rooms. Service was a little slow because the place was packed and they are clearly under staffed with one bartender and one server for a Saturday at 1ish. The menu says that the prime rib is market value so I didn't know what to expect but the sandwich starts at $18 which was a monster sandwich and the table next to me couldn't stop talking about it for a few minutes, that table had 4 obnoxious young men practically disturbing the whole restaurant which is my one real complaint and obviously locals because the staff didn't do anything. The king cut is $34 which is huge and a great value when you consider that they start you with a loaf of bread and butter which I declined because my plate would be more than I can eat. I had one issue with my whiskey old fashioned sour, no garnish which I brought up to my server and he promptly got me a new one and comped me my drink because it was so out of the norm. I ordered the king cut prime rib that comes with a vegetable medley and I upgraded to the twice baked potato. My plate looked great with probably the biggest slab of prime rib I have ever had. The vegetable medley was average with some vegetables mushy and some with some crunch left in them. The twice bakes potato I didn't care for at all because flavor was odd and too much baked potato was left in the shell. The twice baked portion was a rough mash so the whole twice baked potato had the similar texture to a regular baked potato which I didn't care for at all, not the pillow soft mashed that I'm used to. The prime rib was huge and too lean for me because I like a little more fat/flavor in my prime rib. The crust was pretty tame flavor wise probably to appeal to a wider audience. The prime rib was tender and juicy with the au jus being bland but no problem because the only thing I likes on red meat is salt for a good seasoning. Yes this nailed the crave for prime rib totally. Overall the prime rib dinner is pretty solid and very reasonably priced compared the the Milwaukee area known good prime rib restaurants. This is going to be my lunch time go to prime rib restaurant for sure.

One of us was wearing a mask, for personal reasons, even tho it's state mandated and we all should, she was the only one including the workers(we did not say anything about no one else wearing a mask). We ordered a drink and could tell the bartender was having a hard time serving us because of the mask. She proceeded to tell my friend she needed to educate herself and that she will not die if she takes it off. (so glad to know a wind lake bartender is "educating" customers and giving out medical advice.) We continued to tell her its a personal preference but she threw a piece of paper at her with lists of reasons NOT to wear a mask. Meanwhile, the owner is standing there and condoning the entire experience. I understand everyone has their own beliefs, but no one in our group was making a big deal about people not wearing a mask. I can't believe someone, especially an employee & an owner, would make a customer feel so uncomfortable about actually wearing one. We immediately left.

They have multiple large TV's strategy placed so if you want to watch a game it's great for that. They have both high-top and regular height tables with the major regular height. We tried the Pot roast dinner, Mushroom Swiss burger, and the chicken dumplings soup. The soup had excellent flavor and was homemade. Only wish it had more dumplings. The Pot roast dinner came with three large, thick pieces of beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, and carrots. Everything was very good and something that I would order again. One part of burger patty was a little over done but the rest was much better. Ordered medium and it was more medium well but still very tasty and delicious. Our server was amazing and took great care of us. Also got to meet Mike, assistant GM, and really enjoyed talking with him. They have a large parking lot and I believe you can also pull up in your boat. Only recommendation I would have for them is the handicapped parking spaces are on the west side of the entrance and the handicapped ramp is on the east side of the entrance. Would be nice if they were on the same side of the entrance. Highly recommend Doc's on the Fox!

Came here for all you can eat Easter brunch buffet. It was very busy when we arrived for our 11am…read morereservation. Our table was ready, and we were seated. The variety of food choices was excellent (menu in pics). The staff did a great job of keeping the food filled. Place was decorated very cute for Easter. They did have a sign at hostess stand that if you were a party of 6 or less, you could have your table for 75 minutes. This made the older people I was with kind of "nervous" and worried about the time. The made-to-order omelettes were great. The carved ham had good flavor, but was cold. Everything else i tried was good. Brunch was $45/ person which seems high, but comparatively, seems like an ok price. However, on our party of 5, they added a "large party" charge which was 20% of the bill, which ended up being the tip. We didn't see our server much, but the people clearing dishes from the table did a good job coming around often.

I was happy to see that they were a vendor at the Waterford River Rhythms concert at the Village Hall Park. They offered a couple of sandwiches. We got one of each. The Italian Beef and the Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap. Both were good. The beef was tender, and so was the chicken. Couple of suggestions. They add the giardiniera into the beef. My preference is to have it available as a condiment, so you can add as little/much as you like. The wrap was large, and stuffed full of chicken, which would think was a good thing, but it could have benefited from having a bit more of the green salad fixings inside. To give it more textures and flavors. Also, they only have one type of potato chip, plain (and boring). How about offering another choice (Sea Salt and Vinegar)? Super nice service, and it's a reasonable value for what you get.
