I was told I needed a steering shaft replacement and with that they would fix my alignment. Well after I get it back the first time my tie rods start eating away at the metal rim, the upper control arms weren't adjusted at all so the bottom of the tires sat inward and I had shaking. Well I bring it in for my free alignment and was told I was full of shit because it was only when they touched my truck that the tie rods starting destroying the rims of my truck and that only now did they see that I out my tie rods on backwards but some how missed that when having it for 2 days. And as soon as I brought up an issue they got defensive like I was the person in the wrong but I was treated horribly after spending over 1200 dollars with them. I know vehicles and I know mechanics but you don't catch a supposed issue for 2 days but then catch it after a quick glimpse of my tie rods again after I called them out so that makes me full of shit

This auto repair shop lacks on price transparency and unwillingness to address concerns. During a service visit, additional repairs were suggested to my partner without disclosing costs upfront. When we later disputed the charges--explaining we were never informed of the price--they dismissed our concerns and refused any refund. I bought my truck at vetter a little over a month ago. Since I bought it the engine has developed…read moreat very rough idle and a lifter tick/tap. I have brought the truck back to Vetter twice and both times they said it was "normal" even though there is a well known and well documented problem with the 5.3 engine that has all the same symptoms mine is having. if this issue is not fixed it is likely the motor will need to be replaced. He also said the rough idle is "normal"There is a power train warranty on the truck, but the service manager called the warranty company and told them "he wasn't that concerned about it" so now the warranty company won't fix the bad lifters and the dealership won't stand behind the truck I bought from them. According to the service manager a worn lifter that is "bleeding down" is not a failed part and this is his reason for disregarding my concern that this will lead to engine failure. So thank you to the service manager at vetter for convincing the warranty company to not fix my truck and for not standing behind your product, I will never buy another car from you and will always tell people of my extremely poor experience. A one star review is too much but it wouldn't let me give a 0
