Well, the website said that their kitchen was open when we got there the bartender let us know that it was in fact not open and that it was only beverage service. That was a slight disappointment to us as we probably would've hung out later if we could've been able to get food. I did a flight and tried the honey, the apple, the kilted barrel cast, and the Wapsie. Overall, I thought they were all pretty decent. The kilted definitely has a lot of peak and drinks very closely to a scotch. The honey one for me was my favorite and I ended up buying a bottle to bring home. My husband got an old-fashioned made with the Wapsie. He enjoyed it but liked it even more after the ice melted a bit. We were a little surprised that they close so early on a Monday but they close even earlier on Sundays so highly recommend that you pay attention to the operating hours if you're planning to visit.

We were able to order individually and then we had our own table on the second floor. Definitely will be back, especially when there is live music! Shout out to Melanie for your assistance!

They currently have some cocktail slushies on the menu for summertime. We got the painkiller - it's really good! Great for a warm day. They have a promo that they posted on IG but it's slightly misleading. It makes it seem like the first round ($12) will get you the cup in addition to your first round and you can get $5 refills thereafter. On the check though, there's a charge for the cup and each charge is also inflated ($5.20 for a refill, and $12 + some change for the first drink - I forget the cents, maybe $12.48). Not sure why they don't just keep the charges flat to match what they posted online. Good drink though!

It is a very different business model than their usual retail spots in shopping centers. We ordered some of their usual slushees: the adult orange push-up and adult chocolate milk. Just like at their other locations they can add an additional shot to these for additional flavors beyond just the base flavor (and a little extra kick). A new drink that some of our group ordered was the hammered duck. It is a combination of lemonade and snozzberry moonshine with a rubber duck floating on top. It is a nice summer drink and very photogenic! As far as food goes, the only thing we ordered was the salmon dip. It was also very good and served with warm pitas and tortilla chips. We look forward to returning and enjoying more of what Country Hammer has to offer.
