He was clear about the expectations of the job. All contractors are extremely busy now and I had to wait over a month for the job to be done but Allen was upfront about the time frame. He sent me an email stating he would be at my house on Sept 21st. They showed up on time and ready to work. Allen and his crew were fast, efficient, polite and professional. He eyed up the situation and gave us a price & approx. time (within a week or so). It was in our budget and time frame, and we agreed to the estimate. Unfortunately the weather didn't agree with the timeline (the winds were CRAZY STRONG) and we had to wait another week - but I rather safety come first - and that is a priority with Burds too. (Since I am in the service industry I know that customers can wig-out about this, we did not, and Burds were MORE THAN accommodating and attentive to our text). 3/27/25 was the day, they said 7:30 a.m. - and they were early (to my delight!) I wasn't able to stay and watch since I had an appointment then work. They were completed roughly at 10:20 a.m. - and everything was cleaned up nicely. When I got home that evening I was so happy that I didn't have to worry about branches falling in my driveway, or this huge tree falling on my house. WOW! American Arbor Pro…read more Shortly after leaving a message, Joe from American Arbor Pro, reached out. Within several hours, he was at our Mountain Top property. Not revealing my own thoughts and vision, I asked Joe to walk the property and share his opinion and outlook. From the start, I got the distinct feeling Joe invested himself as if it was his own property. He took his time examining all the trees in our yard, then took me along to describe each and everyone along with his recommendation. I was a bit shocked that we wound up being so aligned. Fast forward a week - after a few weather delays, Joe and his unbelievable team came and executed their plan perfectly. I was looking for someone cheap to cut down and trim a few trees and found this guy who…read moresurprisingly had some good reviews(he must post them). My fault for not calling a reputable business. Within the week after Rich came a tree that was looked over and labeled as "healthy" fell hitting the bed of my truck. Thankfully it did not hit my house. I then called Jacob's who cleaned up what Rich couldn't do properly, they also found 2 other decayed trees on my property that were looked over. This is a warning not to save a few bucks. Go with a well known tree service business, not some fly by nighter that doesn't know trees who thinks he can do everything.
