I was in and out in 45 minutes over my lunch break, paid a $20 co-pay and was treated courteously, quickly and thoroughly by very kind, patient nurse practitioners. A li'l bit of a disclaimer: QCare is a part of the Family Practice and Counseling Network (FPCN) which is a division of my current employer Resources for Human Development. Nevertheless, I have a non-FPCN primary care physician and despite falling ill any number of times since QCare's opening, this was my very first visit. I'm also not one to seek medical care outside of annual check-ups; granted I'm fortunate to be in good health overall, but even when I do get knocked down by the flu, attacked by some greedy ass spider monster or afflicted with something just rough enough to warrant a visit, I'm just not likely to follow through. That tendency can effectively end thanks to QCare. Not saying I'll be in there all the time--although they sure are friendly!--but it is a relief to know I have some place that close by that will provide me with the thorough assessment and care that will keep me from googling myself into hysteria. I'm lucky to have health insurance, although one thing I sho' nuff LOVE is that they have a staff person at the ready to assist you with the sign up process if you don't have it. And they don't do the hard sell! They're all about educating you about your options and connecting you to the resources you may need. It's a blessing that ShopRite chose to partner with an organization that's committed to living and serving the community in which it resides--yeah I'm affiliated, but I also say that with great pride having bore witness to some very patient, respectful and kind exchanges. Also, they offer a sliding scale to those without insurance, so while you may break the bank buying up all that enticing fire-grilled chicken that wafts into the clinic (HA! Yeah, I said it!), you won't have to do so just because you need medical attention.

Dr. Zakrzewski is a highly experienced internist, and member of Abington Plaza Medical Associates. With offices in Warminster, and Abington, there's a reason appointments are in high demand. Luckily, with the MyChart app, utilized by the practice, a part of the Jefferson Health network, you have the option to get on a wait list, which nearly always provides an appointment much sooner. Dr. Zakrzewski is extremely intelligent, empathetic, friendly, professional, compassionate, patient, kind, and caring. His medical assistant/nurse, Janet, is always personable, detail-oriented, considerate, efficient, and sympathetic. The entire staff, overall, at Abington Plaza Medical Associates takes initiative to deliver courteous, timely, and effective patient care, and servicing. I've had appointments with Dr. Zakrzewski, with medical residents following him, and his interpersonal communication skills are remarkable. To those future physicians, he provides the character of a role model they should aspire to be like. From the entrance to the offices, waiting area, patient exam rooms, and restrooms, the facilities, and furniture are well-kept, and always clean. Parking is readily available with a very short walk to the entranceway at the Warminster location, and a parking garage with many levels, all handicap accessible, with elevators, and clear signage to guide you. During an appointment with Dr. Zakrzewski, he's informative, asks proper questions to ensure your health, and well-being is optimized with his care. He is generous with his time, does not have patients wait an unreasonable amount of time, as is the case with doctors elsewhere. Test results, the ability to request refills, messaging him questions,e-check in, accessing your medical records, after appointment notes, advice for preventative care, medical news, finding a specialist, etc, are all readily available on the MyChart app, utilized throughout the Jefferson Health network. I cannot praise Dr. Zakrzewski enough. He's earned my trust, mutual respect, and admiration. I highly recommend Dr. Zakrzewski to anyone in need of a superior internist. Do not hesitate, and contact either office to schedule an appointment.
