He does not understand the whole rule of "listening to the patient" and "the patient tells you what they are feeling". Instead, this arrogant doctor will ignore everything he has learned in med school and tell you how you are supposed to feel. I tried him twice to give him the benefit of the doubt and first impressions really do tell you A LOT! Overall, if you are visiting this dump of an office, you either have no insurance, or terrible insurance and if that's the case there are better doctors that will provide help with better care and not be so condescending. I've been trying to get a simple form filled out for my employment onboarding and after nearly a month of calling and messaging nearly every day, I still haven't received it. Despite repeatedly explaining that this form is required for me to begin work, every time I call I'm told they'll "send a message" to the person responsible. Nothing ever happens after that, absolutely no updates, no follow-through, and no sense of consideration. As someone who has worked in healthcare, I would never put a patient through this. The lack of communication and basic respect from the office staff has been frustrating and honestly unacceptable. It's a shame, because the clinical care was excellent, but the administrative side is severely lacking.

After contacting Janice, because one of my specialist doctors didn't appear to be covered under Jefferson Health, she called me at least eight times to follow up, check for updates, make calls to the physician's office, all over 4 business days. My last call from Janice was on my ride to the doctor, to let me know she had spoken with the office, and ensured that my appointment was covered. To the Executives and Board Members of Jefferson Health, if Janice isn't highly promoted, add recognized each year, you're mashing a "big mistake. Big. Huge!" to quote Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. You have a rare commodity, with extreme value, character, and skills that cannot be taught. Since she's likely in a work for hire position, essentially, she's a free agent. Lock her down, and don't be shortsighted. To the other healthcare companies, let the poaching begin. I guarantee Janice is talent of star status.

Diagnosis was sinusitis, but I only had two of the symptoms She prescribed Flonase and an antibiotic. She knew about my anxiety and high blood pressure issues. I asked her if Flonase had any side effects that would aggravate these problems, and was reassured it wouldn't. Sitting here today with terrible anxiety that my meds can barely control. Initially I was not going to get the Flonase script filled, but had such severe headaches and congestion I was desperate.I cannot tolerate otc decongestants. Did not know much about corticosteroids, but anxiety was NOT listed as a common side effect. Wasn't until this morning when I googled it and voila! I'm screwed. I know doctors can make mistakes, but she should have known this. Lesson here; doctors do not know everything. Sometimes you need to go with your gut reaction, you know your body best. You need to do your own research before you take any meds. The place itself was not bad. The front desk girl & other employees were pleasant and helpful. Should have more doctors during peak cold/ flu season. Dr Baron however should have known better.

Doctors are, you know....people. You don't want to evaluate them with the callousness with which you might describte, say, a crepe stand. On the flip side, choosing a primary care physician is hard. You have to pick a random name off of a list and suddenly that person is you go-to for every question and ailment. Unlike the crepes, other people's opinions could be really helpful for longer than a few hours... Fortunately for me, Dr. Graziani is a great doctor, so I don't have to stress about the relative ethics of bashing her on a public website. She is kind, thorough, smart, and gets an extra star for being the first doctor in awhile to take an invested interest in my nemesis, migraines. I'd recommend her. I am recommending her. That's the whole point of the whole thing. (note: if you are considering making Jefferson Med your primary care location you should know that they are affiliated with the med school and you might have students watching and helping during your exams. if this weirds you out, skip the practice)
