I have been a Patient of Dr. L. For around 20 yrs. I like everyone in the practice. I usually am signed in and get called back within the next 10 to 15 minutes if not less. He is a Great doctor & would not change him for another. I also agree with the last person who gave them a review on each doctor in the practice is different some have left and retired. The new ones that have come in you have to remember that at least one of the doctors in the office does rounds also at the hospital first. They're not late just because they feel like it.

I called ahead with insurance information and sent my child ahead with his other parent. They arrived 15 minutes late for a 3:30 appointment. Instead of checking them in, they were asked to wait. When I arrived five minutes after them, I was also asked to wait. When I was FINALLY called up to the desk, I was told that the doctor asked for me to reschedule. This was now after waiting 15 more minutes. While I understand that the office has to maintain a tight schedule and that late appointments delay other appointments, the waiting room was COMPLETELY EMPTY. I was told that Dr. Lipson refused to see my son due to my lateness. When I reminded the office staff that he had already been there for fifteen minutes they again checked with the doctor who again refused to accommodate us. Again... The waiting room remained empty. I refuse to believe for a minute that the office was too busy to squeeze in a patient given the conditions that I discussed with them and the fact that the waiting room was empty. I am changing my provider and I won't be back. This office staff needs to address ways to be accommodating to busy families because things happen and in the big picture, a pediatrician/ family doctor is in many ways a long-term relationship. It is futile to make a point when the waiting room is empty and at the expense of losing a family's business.

So today I decided maybe I should go without an appointment. i got there 10 minutes after they opened and 5 people were already there 4 of them were walk-ins and one gentleman had an appointment. The four walk-ins were taken ahead of this poor man with an appointment who now was late for work. Being the only one left in the waiting room a woman walked in. Low and behold she was taken ahead of me with no explanation. When I spoke up I was told she registered and sat in her car until they texted her. Well this is fine but after fasting since 10 the night before and thinking I was next with 2 people waiting in the back for the one employee there to do their lab now I had another person ahead of me which means now I am looking at another 15-20 minute wait. First of all I think I should have been advised that there was a person now ahead of me and WHY TAKE APPOINTMENTS IF IN THE END THEY DON'T MEAN A THING!!!!! After speaking up I didn't want the girl who was not a pleasant person to begin with now taking my blood so I walked out. Also, if they know their busy time would be first thing in the morning why do you only have one person staffing the office. I guess that is their way of saving money. Forget the consumer!!!! The issue is most physicians do not do lab work in the offices anymore and now you don't have too many choices as to where to get your blood work done. Your damned if you do and damned if you don't. I am going to try another Labcorp and hopefully I won't have to go through this again.

It was my first MRI since moving to PA. I've had many over the years…read more The ladies in the front office were very friendly and welcoming. Marion was especially helpful. I felt comfortable and in good hands. But then came the actual MRI... I'm disabled, short, and suffering with back pain. I was having a difficult time getting onto the table, but the tech never offered me any assistance. I asked him if he had a pillow to put under my legs and he did. He helped me with that. I was handed a pair of foam ear plugs. That was new to me because at my prior MRIs I was given headsets and asked what type of music I liked. It doesn't hide the noise, but it helps a lot. I was put into the machine and just couldn't believe how noisy it was! I've never experienced anything like it. It didn't take long before I had a pounding headache. Between the noise and my back pain it was a horrible 30 minutes. I had a lot of anxiety.... which I've never experience during prior MRIs. It was finally over, and I felt the table moving out of the machine. I was hurting, and a little disoriented. Before I was completely out the tech quickly pulled the pillow out from under my knees. That was not pleasant. He could have given me a minute to compose myself. I was having a difficult time trying to sit up and he never offered me any help. I couldn't believe it. I managed to find my way back to the dressing room and get my clothes on.... still in disbelief over that horrible experience. I did mention it to one of the lady's up front. She told me the machines were 30 years old, and that the techs will never help the patients! Up until this appointment I feel that I've received very good medical care here in PA. The only reason I gave this place 3 stars was because of the convenience of the location to my home, the awesome front office staff, and it's much cheaper than having tests done at the hospital.

Once I was in the back for my scans, the people there were a bit nicer. It's so sad that in healthcare, when people are already suffering, to be treated this way. I always felt like if you hate your job so much why not just find a new job instead of talking down to people that are in pain?
