We recently took our cat in to get spayed. They had stated we needed two appointments for that. One…read morefor the pre-check and one for the actual procedure. I've never had to go to two appointments for any spay or neuter in the past so we thought it was odd but moved forward anyways because we liked this Office so much. Since she was already on her cycle, they said they couldn't do the procedure until after she was over it. But they said the pre-check appointment would be fine to conduct. After the pre-check appointment they scheduled the follow up appointment for the procedure. We arrived at the appointment and during intake they stated that there may be an additional charge if they find that she's internally swollen from her cycle. We asked if it would have been better to have come back when we knew for sure she would be ready. They stated yes it would have been better if we had come back the following week when we would know for sure. Are you serious right now? You guys are the ones who setup the follow up appointment! At this point we're now confident that they are either bait and switching or else price gouging. They had already started the intake before we comprehended the predicament they put us in. We ended up getting charged for that appointment (but not the additional precheck steps; whatever that's supposed to mean... again, never had so many appointments for a spay) and left saying we would contact them to schedule another appointment for the following week. I called the following day and then proceeded to call every two days. After the first week, we stopped leaving messages since it was clear no one was listening to them or following up with them. We then proceeded to call every day instead; different times of the day. Here we are, weeks later, no one has returned our phone calls, no one seems to answer the phone, and what's even worse is after those two appointments you would've thought that a "good vet" would have followed up! But nope, dead silence. If I wasn't disabled and hubs wasn't my full-time caretaker then he would've just gone there instead of calling. But leaving the house is extremely challenging for me and leaving me alone is dangerous. So every time we leave the house it's a precarious situation. So you can imagine our frustration with the lack of care that this vet seems to show. They seem to have very little respect for people's lives or time. But this negative review is not based solely on the lack of respect for our lives or time. After all, what's important is the care that our pets receive. As it stands, the multiple appointments for a spay procedure sounds more stressful than helpful to the pets. When it came to the follow up appointments for our other cat and our dog, there were serious discrepancies between the different vets in this office. During a particular follow up for our cat who had kidney stones, the vet went down a laundry list of concerns and we questioned why none of this was brought up just two weeks prior. She seemed to be taken back with our response; it was almost as if she was treating it as a new patient intake appointment. After a few minutes, it was obvious that she hadn't checked his prior records even though this was a "follow up appointment". She claimed it was some excuse about not seeing the correct test. So I'm sorry, you did in fact look at his prior records but acted as if this was a new appointment because you didn't find a specific test? Seriously, what kind of BS excuse is that? And my complaints are obviously nothing new. If you look at their reviews, the complaints are exactly as we state; lack of respect for their patients families and their time, and inconsistent care that could prove to be very dangerous, as is evidenced by their negative reviews. And with each of those negative reviews, they claim that they take the reports very seriously. Clearly that's just a line of BS since they seem to have not improved on those complaints. At this point, we had already decided to not bring our pets back in. We were going to complete our cat's spay procedure and then find another vet. But honestly, I'm not even confident we could move forward with the procedure given all of the scheduling issues... or would they try to charge us for all of that all over again? I've lost any confidence that this vet has any integrity.

ALL he gave her was parvo, I even showed him on the website what they needed her to have. What vet doesn't know she would need both parvo and bortadella for boarding? Now I have to take her back to get it. Taking our pets to the vet is stressful enough without having to go back to back. PLUS, yesterdays visit cost me $116 and now the bortadella will be an additional $48. This place is way to expensive, time to switch vets.

Dr. Espinosa at Majestic Park Animal Hospital - He Gave Us Hope…read more............. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Espinosa and his team at Majestic Park Animal Hospital. My dog Vera had a high-grade mast cell tumor. The previous clinic (Horizon Ridge Animal Hospital / Dr. Jose Maria Encarnacion) removed it, but they did a poor job -- the margins were only 1 mm deep. They also told me she might only have about three months to live. Hearing that left me completely heartbroken and without hope. I started searching for a new doctor who could give me real hope. I found that doctor -- Dr. Espinosa at Majestic Park Animal Hospital. Dr. Espinosa had to completely redo the surgery with much wider margins. He also thoroughly checked to make sure the cancer hadn't spread to her lymph nodes, blood, bones, or organs. Thankfully it had not. What stood out most was how much hope he gave me. After being told she might only have a few months left and feeling completely broken, Dr. Espinosa took the time to clearly explain everything, treated Vera with real care, and gave us a solid plan moving forward. He was knowledgeable, compassionate, and honest. I'm very grateful we found him. Highly recommend Dr. Espinosa and Majestic Park Animal Hospital.

They took us back super quick, went over diagnostic options and did some tests. Still waiting on blood work results which I agreed to be necessary and not unreasonable considering my dogs age and unusal symptoms. They gave us some meds and we were on our way. Gave dog meds when we got home (and after we stopped at Inn and out for a dog patty). Within 3 hours just like the vet said he got up and was looking around for food. I had tried giving him plain chicken, rice, 3 different types of wet food and meatballs all within the 4 days and he refused to eat. Well, happy to say the meds and the vet recommendations worked and my pup is eating again! He scarfed down the beef patty. I was literally jumping for joy. I was so worried I was going to go in and they were going to give me horrible news or tell me they needed me to put him down. He is a great dog and usually full of energy and love prior to this sickness. I had a good feeling about the facility and doctor and glad I made the choice to take my dog in to be seen by this facility. I truly think he is on his way to better health and a bit more life and love to give us. Thank you!!

Really sad to be writing this, as I tried several times to like this vet's office. I even spoke…read morewith the office manager separately about my experiences because I genuinely loved the two different doctors I worked with. Unfortunately, literally everything else outside of the exam room fell short. We initially brought our 2 year old pup in for a same-day appointment for blood in her urine. Paid over $1,000 in tests, and when a staff member we'd never seen before handed our dog back with a white bag, she tried to walk away without saying a word. No test results, no explanation of the meds, nothing. We had to stop her from walking away just to find out what was going on. A few weeks later, my dog chipped a tooth at the groomer. Since the groomer was covering it, I desperately needed documentation: an invoice, estimate, and medical notes. I asked the day of the appointment and I received nothing. Called the next morning and was promised by end of day, nothing. Left a frantic voicemail - received only the estimate (the one showing how much money they were getting). The moment I finally asked to speak to a manager, all the notes magically appeared in my inbox immediately. On the day of the dental procedure, the surgery tech had zero idea about the chipped tooth, had no record of the full blood panel she'd just had two weeks prior, and hadn't looked at the estimate I'd already signed. I asked for a call before she went under anesthesia to discuss EKG and X-ray findings. He agreed and noted it. Three and a half hours later with no call, I called them. I got bounced between four different people, having to re-explain myself every time, until a guy answered with the most horrendous phone etiquette I've ever experienced. He was rude and dismissive. I mentioned how I was nervous because my dog had been to the dentist a handful of times already and never went under anesthesia for it to which he responded, "well per Nevada law..." ok bud. Got it. When my boyfriend went to pick her up, they handed him a "new patient" form to fill out... the exact same paperwork with our sensitive info (including my Social Security number) that I had filled out on day one. While our dog was recovering from anesthesia, they wanted us re-doing paperwork because they apparently lost everything. He also asked for the receipt to be emailed so I could send it to the groomer; instead, she printed it out. He thanked her, reminded her to email it, and she promised she would. She never did, forcing me to call yet again the next day. When I asked why we had to fill out new forms and she let me know they lost and had no record of our info. I asked "you guys lost the forms that I wrote my SSN on?" Then I was told "we shred all our paperwork." Comforting. As someone who works in the hospitality industry, I pride myself on being understanding and as far from a "difficult customer" as possible. But this staff made it genuinely hard not to lose my mind. Like I stated, the vets and the office manager are wonderful people. It's just deeply disappointing that we won't be returning, solely due to a systemic lack of basic competence and care from the front office and support staff.

For the first time in their lives, they don't fear going to the vet, they're actually excited to walk through the front door. Vegas Pet Animal Hospital is Fear Free certified, and you can truly feel the difference in their approach. The office is always extremely clean from top to bottom, and every member of the staff is incredibly sweet and caring. Dr. Wagner is honest, patient, and never rushes you. She takes the time to clearly explain everything and always responds when I need her. I honestly don't think I'll ever go to another vet. Highly, highly recommended.

We need to be able to leave 1000 stars for Dr. Wagner! After our veterinarian of over 30 years…read moresold his private practice to a corporation we knew we had to find another place to take our very timid and senior cat Hugo Boss. Hugo Boss had just lost his 13 year old companion cat a month before so he was deeply grieving as we were also. What a beautiful facility, kind and caring staff and a beyond amazing veterinarian. It is a certified fear free practice! Our boy needed his rabies shot, microchip and had some ear issues. Dr. Wagner treated Hugo Boss with such kindness, dignity and compassion. He received his complete and extremely thorough exam while nestling in his carrier. He didn't even know he got his shot or microchip it was that quick and painless. He was only taken out very gently to be weighed. Dr. Wagner then cleaned his ears which we were certain he would never let her do. She also showed us a much better technique that our previous vet had used so we could do it at home. My husband and I were truly speechless and kept looking at each other going how is she doing this??? She suggested we could just get some ear cleaner at a pet store but we chose to purchase what she had. It was all done right in front of us in a beautiful exam room with ambient soft sounds and Feliway diffused. There was no taking him "in the back" and wondering what was going on. When she was done she wrote up a very detailed report for us as to where our boy was at healthwise and future goals for us to take with us. He even let her look at his teeth! Our beautiful tuxedo boy was seen and treated in the lap of luxury. Having lived in Las Vegas our entire lives, as Dr. Wagner has, this is the most amazing veterinary practice we have ever seen. There is also a lovely complimentary refreshment center with coffee, beverages, snacks and goodies for us humans! Thank you Dr. Wagner and your entire staff! You made a dark and rainy day bright and beautiful for all three of us.
