In the summer time it can be very busy there but the lake and having so many different things to do you don't feel like it's packed everyone's doing there thing. They have a beach area and slides to enjoy with family. If you're not from around here the first thing you should do is stop at the visitor center to get a little idea of the area. They have maps, souvenirs, you can also go on a guided tour (hiking or boating). The history of Raystown is very interesting and thought I was born and raised it still fascinates me.

Most, if not all, of the sites are nicely graded and flat so setup is easy. We didn't use the toilets or showers since we were in a small motor home but as nice as everything else is, I can't imagine that they would be anything but perfect. We saw campground staff going several times throughout the day to clean the facilities. We had a very enjoyable several days at Seven Points Campground and plan to return this Spring.

For example, part of The Standing Stone Trail is in the Greenwood Furnace Park! The trails go past areas including beaches, dams, forests, historic buildings and more! At times the hiking trails became overgrown. If hiking is not your thing they also have boating and fishing options. Obviously, the lakes in the park are usually packed with canoes and kayaks. When it comes to fishing, trout is sought after! After day-time activities you can cool of at the sand beach located on the lake. Around that area they have pagodas and barbecues that are great for picnicking! They also have a playground with multiple slides for the kids! During the winter time, they also have plenty of activities including snowmobiling, sledding and ice skating! The bathrooms here are new and clean so you can change into your bathing suit at the park! I would highly recommend this Park!

For $270/nt…read more(incl tx) in October that was not inexpensive, but we were there for a wedding so we booked 2 nights. The 2 bedroom villas are supposed to be able to sleep 6 if you count the pullout sofa. DO NOT count the pullout sofa as an option - it's the worst bedding ever. I called the front desk and they explained that all the villas have the same bedding so bring an inflatable mattress if you need to sleep 6. The pillows provided were definitely poor, but the sheets were fair. Overall, I am writing a mediocre review because the pullout sofa was one of the worst possible sleeps I have ever had. Wifi service is limited to one device which was a negative. We noticed the majority of the light posts were not working. We walked back from the wedding and the road was dark even though there were numerous lights- they just weren't working. Location was great because we could walk to the conference center for the wedding on the outdoor terrace. Service was good although if I would have been given a credit for a lousy night sleep I would have given a better rating.
