So far, I have tried their steak sandwich, a burger, and their homemade pizza. All filled me up but didn't want me to make this a destination stop. Service is solid and beer options standard for the area. I love the fact that this has been around forever and for that, I am upping my review to 4 stars. There are a few options close by that I believe are better but if you happen to drive by, it is worth just stopping in for a cold one.

AND, they serve cheese curds (the deepfried cheddar ones), which are getting harder and harder to find! I always have to stop to get my filling of cheese curds. Mmmm mmm mmm. The food is pretty darn good, although not quite as delicious as a few other places in town. They also serve Faye's pizza (even though it's frozen, it's still yummy!). The mini-tacos are also a good choice. Staff is always friendly. They also have pool tables, video gambling machines, and a fun quarters game!

When we walked in the jukebox seemed somewhat loud, but during our time there it didn't bother me and I also heard several good tunes. The space itself had terrazzo floors and a Formica bar top (I think) with wood paneling, drop ceilings and wasn't overly adorned with tchotchkes. Otherwise it was a pretty ordinary watering hole. The bartender took good care of us and we also snacked on a bag of tortilla chips topped with warm nacho cheese, which served as a makeshift lunch for us. The draft beers were cold and ran about $3, and a lot of the patrons bid us a happy Memorial Day and safe travels as we headed out, which was appreciated.
