I had the distinct honor of helping to prepare and serve a meal here a few weeks ago. The facility…read moreis clean and efficent. The staff is cordial and the volunteers were delightful to work with. The people who were there for meals were quite polite and appreciative. The entire facility is well run and there is an organic garden on site. Composting is carried on there with the excess food products. It's encouraging to find a well run, charitable organization with a mission for recycling and composting for the good of the community and the environment. Project Host Soup Kitchen is supported by donations in kind and monetary gifts as well. I was very impressed and will be volunteering again as soon as my schedule permits.
