I am also writing about the Early Learning Center (as is the reviewer below). Honestly, the people and the infant room are great. The infant room ladies are amazing and the place's director is just wonderful. HOWEVER, if your kid gets sick, they will ROB YOU BLIND. You are required to pay a $75 start fee on top of tuition, they kick kids out with any sicknesses and don't let them come back until they are symptom free or a doctor sees them and clears them as non contagious (EXPENSIVE to see a doc TWICE for a note, and sometimes still doesn't work, baby is not super sick but it is lingering and contagious, since babies can't take much medication!). They have no alternative sick room or alternative for care for non emergency sicknesses like simple colds, yet they expect you to pay full tuition while trying to string together sometimes expensive alternative care for your slightly sick child. On top of that, if your child is unlikely enough to get one of the strains that is going around this year, and is mildly sick but for quite a while, and in desperation you try to withdraw until things get better, they charge you for all the absences PLUS a TWO WEEK fee AFTER unenrolling. It IS in their contract, but Arizona (and most states) require good faith in the execution of a contract, and this is NOT IT. My husband and I ended up paying $586 to this nightmare place for TWO AND A HALF days of care for our baby. Yes, we are considering legal action, but for the moment, I wanted others to BEWARE- especially as 2013 has turned out to be HORRIBLE with the long range, awful illnesses floating around. DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD HERE unless money is not an issue. If you couldn't care less and are lucky enough to be fairly well off, then this place may be for you- again, the director is a sweetheart and the infant room ladies are fabulous- but you better be prepared to pay a small fortune if the baby is sick. read more
