Couples Massage was amazing. The therapist was able to release my shoulder and I am so grateful to no longer be in pain. Highly recommend Pembroke Day Spa! read more

Great couples massage! The ease of calling to make an appointment was a relief as well as the price! The building is a little old but the inside is simple and clean. The red lights quickly set the mood for relaxing. The customer service could be a little friendlier, but they were ok. It could've been a little warmer in the room, but the massages were amazing! We can't wait to go back. read more

Pembroke Day Spa - Massage Therapy Near Me - Virginia Beach, Virginia

Visited while on a weekend getaway for my Birthday. We received his and her massages. It was great! Loved the calming atmosphere!

I came here because I specifically wanted a back massage and found this place doing a Google search. They offer a 30 minute back massage for $50, and let me tell you it was the best back massage I have ever had! Nicole was my masseuse, and I will definitely use her again. Although it was a back massage she did hit my arms, legs, and feet briefly so that was nice. The Omar itself isn't anything unique, but the service is really great, and pricing is decent! Highly recommend for therapeutic massage! Oh and they offer free hot stones which is a huge plus! I usually pay an extra $10/$15 for them! read more

This is the best place for a full body massage. I saw this place had a 5 star google review which is what brought me in. I've had 3 of the girls give me separate 1 hour massages and so far Nicole is the absolute best! I highly recommend scheduling ahead of time and requesting her for your massage. I have massive nerve tension in my back and she relieved all of it! read more

Yesterday, I came here on a mere whim, after getting a pizza from Pembroke Pizza next door. It's conveniently located in a small strip mall off of Independence, tucked away in a corner. Inside, the space and rooms seem pretty clean and well maintained, but with the typical thin walls I expect from other Asian massage spas I've been to. I initially opted for a one hour massage. The masseuse was not the owner Sherry, but one of her associates; didn't catch her name. This lady talked my ear off the whole time and kept trying to sell me on adding more time. I initially wanted a soothing Swedish massage, but I guess the only language she understood was "deep tissue." She kept saying, "oh, but your shoulders are so tense, I need more time to massage out the knots, how about adding 30 minutes?" And this went on for a good twenty or so minutes, until I finally relented and agreed to 30 more minutes just to shut her up. Another thing that surprised me was when this short little lady hopped up on to the table and proceeded to step on my body...I was legit like, bro...get the f off. This isn't even remotely comfortable. I made sure to let her know don't do that again for the duration of the massage. Also, another seemingly simple thing was the lack of a head/face cushion. The hole in the massage table where the face rests, the only thing there is a towel wrapped in a cushion shape and not an actual cushion. Halfway through the massage, I noticed my face feeling sore from laying down on that thing. All in all, I consider this a pretty mediocre massage experience. I doubt I'll be coming back here again. read more

This was the best deep tissue massage I have had in years! The atmosphere was nice and peaceful.

This is the best massage I've had in a long time. I only did 30 minutes but she worked out the knots in my back which I wanted done! What made it so good? 1- QUIET. Very little road nosie and she doesn't talk your ear off 2- BIG hands with just the right pressure 3- it's like a mix media massage. Dry, oil, back cracking, it just has it all 4- she could tell where you need the work and does it 5- stupid comfortable table. Feels like you're on a solid table. You can breathe and it doesn't feel small Just a heads up, she takes card but you'll pay a $3 fee which is ok. She's great. I love it and will be back!! I think it's just her and another lady so call first to make an appointment read more

The best massage I have ever had! Sherry was awesome and so was the other lady I did not catch her name! Peaceful and relaxing! Very professional and clean will definitely be back! read more

The massage was really good, the place is clean and the staff was very nice. Only thing I wish that maybe towards the end she would've take her time with the hot rocks it felt kind of rushed and also closed the door alll the way because I could hear the outside noise in the lobby and it was a tad bit distracting. Overall tho it was really nice and I will definitely be going again. read more

Sherry is the best. Have been several times and she has always been kind and helps me recover from the constant air travel. Always look forward to getting work every month! read more

Went here for a couples massage. It was an amazing massage. My massage lady worked on my target areas and knew what she was doing. My girlfriend really really enjoyed hers. She was having lots of knots in her back and hips and her massage lady laser focused on her areas. I would highly recommend anyone with any aches and pains to go and they'll take care of you! We're coming back for sure! read more

Had a wonderful couples massage. Was able to make a same day appointment and I'm glad we did. It's very clean inside and welcoming. The massage was excellent and exactly what I needed after a long flight. My wife was also feeling much better after her massage as she had neck pain related to taking care of the kids alone while I was gone. Will make this a regular place that we will return to. Shelly and Mary were very friendly and good at what they do. read more

Was taken in the room as soon as we arrived and the service was amazing! We were treated like VIP.

Great experience - super friendly and helpful staff and the massage itself was AH-MAZ-ING!!! Went for a couples massage - 60 mins - pricing was so reasonable and there's a loyalty program. We'll be back for sure. We both noticed how clean the spa was - but without any overwhelming fake fragrance like you smell some places. Highly recommended. read more

Lovely staff, extremely professional and great massage service. I purchased the deep tissue couples massage and it was absolutely wonderful. Will definitely be returning! read more

Very nice lady on the phone! Very considerate to let me know that if I paid with card there will be a fee. I'd rather give the business my money instead of credit card fees. Very accommodating. Very nice and it was clean and relaxing! Took my husband to his very first massage. Lol he enjoyed it and so did I! Price is fair. Swedish massage with hot stone $120 total. I'd definitely go again! Thank you so much again! read more

Sherry was extremely prompt in responding to my previous review and to my previous concerns regarding my first ever visit to Pembroke Day Spa. She even advised me to come back to Pembroke Day Spa, so that she could personally fix the problem with my upper back and left shoulder at no charge to me. I went back and am very glad that I did. She did an excellent job addressing the areas that needed to be worked and fixed. Also, she was very kind and extremely professional. If you are looking for a legitimate and professional massage, then I highly recommend that you book an appointment with Sherry at Pembroke Day Spa. read more

I had an hour long deep tissue massage. It was absolutely worth it! Great pressure! Very relaxing.

Called this place on Christmas Eve and they were able to fit me in. My masseuse was Sherry. She did an outstanding job getting me relaxed and working the knots out of my shoulders which relieved the tension in my neck muscles. The only thing I didn't like was that she left the room to help the other masseuse out with payment I guess using the credit card machine. Other than that it was a nice visit and I was grateful they were able to fit me in on such short notice. The place is very clean and smelled clean. read more

My husband and I had a couples massage with Sherry and Mary. Both were fantastic! Loved the room and ambiance. Highly recommend this place and we will definitely be coming back regularly. read more

My wife and I did a couples deep tissue massage and it felt amazing. The atmosphere was welcoming and quiet. The ladies who worked on us were super nice and respectful. They did an amazing job throughout the session. I had asked for specific focus on my back and legs and she was able to relieve a lot of pressure and tension from my lower back. The pressure was perfect and I left the spa feeling like a brand new person. If you or your significant other are looking for a spot to take some stress of your shoulder through an amazing massage. Love these ladies. They are so sweet and make me feel comfortable even when I have my 7yo daughter with me. They play with her and teach her Chinese when really she could be sitting quietly in the waiting room reading a book. They also gave me a prenatal massage with my most recent child. It's always a fun experience and I really feel like they care about me, they are always excited to see Scarlette and she is as well read more

I made another visit to Pembroke Day Spa to see Sherry, but she was busy, so this was my first time with Vivian. She was absolutely amazing! She easily found my trouble spots and went to work on them with great success. The only disappointment with the massage was when she told me it was over. Vivian was charming and very nice to talk to. She is strong, and I highly recommend her if you need a firm massage or deep tissue. I'd bet she is good at lighter touch as well, if that's your thing. I highly recommend you give her a try. Remember to tip well. These ladies earn it! I will be back. 非常感谢你。 read more

In need of a good relaxing and rejuvenating massage and wanted to try this new business and hands down, literally... this is my new favorite place. I walked in to a warm welcome from Dora and was originally coming for an hr massage but after a few mins on the table I changed to 90 mins. Dora has an amazing talent and highly recommend her to anyone, she really loves what she does and my body can tell and appreciates it, Great job! Thanks again and look forward to seeing you soon. read more

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! Sherry is the best! Never disappointed when I leave. I get deep tissue massage, and trust me, it will leave you sore but feeling relieved from all the knots in your back. The customer service there is extremely phenomenal. The ladies who work alongside sherry, are super nice. They are always asking if the massage is nice or too rough. They will accommodate to your needs and level of pressure. I definitely recommend this place. Their prices are affordable, too! They work the full time you acquire for. Unlike other massage spas they waste their time not giving you the right massage. But here at pembroke day spa it's every single minute it's hands on. They are even courteous about scents, before they apply oils or lotions they ask if you like the scent if not they will bring other options for you. Will continue to to come to them! read more
