WOW! A "European" style boutique with early 2000's prices! You may miss it because the strip mall…read moreis not a looker - it certainly could use a glow up because as a mall, it's pretty ratty looking. With a gym, great nail and hair salons, a sketchy massage place, dunkin, pet shop, and a really SEEDY convenience store with AWESOME breakfast sandwiches, its hard to believe this little mall has anything to offer. But it does. So a couple of doors down from the Centerville Post Office, you'll gasp at the gorgeous window with clothing and accessories that mimic the walking streets in Milan. SERIOUSLY, I'm not joking! Once you walk in through the doors you are transported to European good taste and shocked at affordable prices! Delivering the chic, quality, workmanship and delightful service, particularly if the owner,Fabi is in the house, you will pinch yourself, dreaming almost to forget the huge parking lot and the ratty mall looks - you can't judge this book by its cover, because Adorned UPS the mall's game. Italian silks. French couture. Looking for a special occasion piece? Don't overlook this little gem with soul, humility, pride in fashion. It is a DESTINATION anyone looking for CHIC will have their heads spinning in every direction - At a fraction of the price from beautiful downtown Osterville. NO JOKE. I don't joke about my dead presidents! Target prices? NO. Nice try. But somewhere between Nordstrom mid range but with Bloomingdale and Neiman Marcus sales prices AND better quality! I wish I were thinner so I could fit in most of the clothing (Sorry, plus isn't in their repertoire BUT they CAN style you to the 9's!) - accessories also available to glam you up or to make your casual attire look like you just came out of Devil Wears Prada... Put this on your Cape Cod destination shopping. Put your snobby pinky down when you see the mall, and lift it again when you walk in through the door! And ask for the back room sales!!!!!!

I ease-dropped in on the shop owner chatting with a woman who works at another clothing shop in town and was reminded of how sweet and simple human interaction can be. I felt almost as if I were an extra in a Hallmark film (in a good way, I swear). While the clothes are wonderfully selected and displayed, it was the decor that really blew me away. Browsing The House of Findings is truly an experience as the owner has put such care and attention into selecting the pieces that adorn the shop. From the egg-carton sculpture hanging from the ceiling to the collection of globes overhead as you enter to the ceramic figures scattered throughout, vintage clothing shopping has never felt more fun! If this place were to make it onto tiktok or instagram and start collaborating with local social media influencers then I'm sure they would blow up! While I did not purchase anything today I will certainly be back when I'm in more of a "shopping mood!" Thank you so much for having me!
