I later noticed that the quality of the work was not perfect - the drywall had several flaws and the carpeting had not been stretched back into place properly. As the work had to be done while I was out of town, and the building otherwise vacant, finding a reputable, reliable, trustworthy and highly professional contractor was absolutely essential. Walter was that contractor. From the start, he treated the job as if it was in his own building. He made valuable suggestions for improvements to my plans, and always offered cost-effective alternatives. He coordinated in my absence with three other contractors I had hired, with no issues whatsoever. Whenever he had concerns in some aspect of the job, he would contact me immediately to provide me with the information I needed to make the decision as to which way to go. We had 4 areas done by them; bedroom closet, pantry/storage room, entryway closet, and spare bedroom closet (no photo). We love all of the spaces and wouldn't change anything. We initially had three quotes from two other companies (including California closets), and the designs by Jen were better than the others by far. We initially had glass sliding doors covering up our closet and Jen convinced us to remove them and raise the closet hight by another foot or so. I did the job myself to save some money, and it was not too difficult luckily. It however was a fantastic idea as we were able to change the entire design of the closet to be more functional, and symmetrical. The entry way closet Jen also had the best design for and its much better then how it was done originally. The pantry/storage room we added on at the end as we were not even thinking of having it done, but Jen had very functional ideas which make a huge difference for our day to dad. My financé and I were looking into some durable laminate flooring for our new home and we dropped…read moreby Galaflex. We found that Galaflex wasnone kf the only companies to carry laminate by Finsa. Norman was the dealer who helped us throughout our process and he was super knowledgable, friendly and considerate. He guided us with picking out the right type of laminate and the items required to install the laminate. We ended up choosing Finfloor Supreme since it had a high AC5 rating for durability and it had an option to put in a sealant, which would provide further waterproofing to our floors. Norman was super great and kept our order of laminate in the warehouse for almost a year (with deposit) before we were ready to finally pick it up. Nice to have that assurance and reliability, and not find out it was later sold. After we picked up the laminate from a warehouse (not owned by Galaflex), Norman was really sweet and called us to make sure everything was okay and nothing was missed. Overall, great customer service and we are happy with our time with Galaflex. Thanks Norman!
