These snowballs are the best! They are flavored all the way through and you're not chewing on ice the whole time!

I recently had Gunny Smitty cater a party at my house. The planning and confirmation process…read morecouldn't have been easier. He showed up right on time and was ready to serve when the party started. My guests couldn't have been happier with the service and selection. Everyone was able to build their own hot dogs and Charley made excellent suggestions when folks were overwhelmed by topping options. The favorite toppings in the group (not surprisingly) were the Pepsi Onions and the Bacon Jam. The sauces were popular as well especially the sweet heat and the blueberry jalapeno. I can't recommend them more highly. The made catering a party of 50ish people so so easy on me, the host. Very reasonably priced as well. Go see the Gunny when he's set-up around town but also be sure to invite him to your party, wedding, reception, etc. You and your guests won't be disappointed.

Finally got up with Gunny at 200 E. 1st Street, and grabbed a Chili Dog and a Smoked Sausage with…read moremustard and kraut. Charley Smith makes his own chili, and it makes the hot dog here special. My dog had an all beef wiener, freshly chopped onions, and the home made chili - so very, very nice. The Smoked Sausage has a great flavor, and is truly massive - twice the size of the hot dog, and with kraut and spicy mustard it is excellent. Charley is a most pleasant man, and makes coming here a pleasure indeed.

Living here we had never heard of this place before finding it on here.on yelp…read more It really is out in nowhere not too far from town. When walking in you order at the window and you sit with a number and someone brings out. We started with a appetizer fried onion, sorta like petals of onion. It was pretty good. They have specials for the day I got the baked speg. Wasn't bad. With 2 sides come with it, corn nuggets were good and broccoli. The other meal was a hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and corn. But the one thing they are known for is the butterfinger cake, so we got a pice and upside pineapple cake. They were both good but the butterfinger was amazingly good!! The owner said some people come just for that cake because it sells out so fast. I am not big on Butterfingers BUT!! This cake is to die for. So good! We talked to the owner sounds like a family ran business he was passed down it from his grandfather and his Dad. I am surprised we didn't hear about it sooner. A small town and out all by itself like in a huge field. Try this place out! We would definitely go back and recommend you to try, Especially that dessert!!

Recently renovated with plenty of tables and some tvs... it was immaculately clean. I went here twice during the Holidays and had a burger both times so I cannot comment on other menu items. The burgers were fresh as were the toppings. Tater tots and fries were made fresh to order. Everything was delicious! The menu is HUGE. There are many different sandwich options, meats / veggies, and so much more. I will return!

I…read morehad gotten the New Yorker delicious, the only thing I didn't Ike about it was my soggy Bun in places. I do not like any kind of soggy bread. My husband on the other hand said his great balls of fire special was delicious. He loved everything about it. And we will definitely be back , he also said the homemade banana pudding was amazing.. The service was wonderful. The atmosphere was good. , the place was very clean and plenty of parking. They had something for everyone. Vegetarian no problem they had veggie dogs or create your own hot dog. But overall the place is good the food is fresh and delicious!

We tried the Carolina girl - loved the chili and onions and mustard, truly a Carolina classic. Also loved the family tradition- the slaw on it was great. The ambiance inside was charming; we got it as take out to bring home this time but I look forward to going back in person to get a beer and catch a trivia night!

I tried a hot dog all the way, one without slaw, and a sausage dog with spicy mustard. These are good hot dogs - all beef franks, grilled buns (nice touch that), nice chili with a touch of sweetness, and all sorts of toppings if you are so inclined. The smoke sausage was of the same quality as the franks, with a rich smokey taste and a touch of heat, and the spicy mustard added some bite. The slaw is shredded rather than chopped, and has some heat of its own. They offer a variety of combos (2 dogs, fries, and drink for $7 for example) , and have hand cut fries, as well Nice friendly folks, you'll enjoy the visit.

The hot dogs are super tasty & you can choose from a variety of toppings: ketchup, mustard, homemade slaw, homemade chili, sauerkraut, relish, onions, jalapeños, cheese, candied jalapeños (I believe) & I may be be missing a few. Loved my hot dogs, only thing I would do different since it's a food truck & you take to your destination to eat, is that putting the sauerkraut on one of my hot dogs made my bun soggy. If I can get the kraut on the side & add once I reach my destination & I'm ready to have my meal that would be great. The fries were so tasty, some crispy like I like them & others just right. They have seasoned salt, Cajun seasoning, garlic salt, vinegar, & of course ketchup available for the fries. They even have a punch card available, after certain number of combos you get one free!!! Failed to get a menu pic, but I got the deal $8 for 2 dogs, fries & a drink. They also have: $7 for 2 dogs, chips & a drink & a deal with a sausage on bun, fries & drink (don't recall price). You can do just 2 dogs for $5 as well. I absolutely loved it, got my punch card & highly recommend it.
