Best snow cones in the heart of Palmetto. Unlimited amount of flavors, you can think of it, they have it. I tried half melon and half pistachio. Both delicious. I love how smooth the texture is. Completely sold!

I have never been a big fan of snowcones because I always felt like they never had enough flavor compared to other frozen treats like Italian ice. I decided to give Pelican's a try after seeing the great reviews on Yelp. They are some of the best snowcones I have ever had. I liked that they had locally themes specials like the Palmetto HS Tiger which uses flavors that are the school colors. I had a sour tsunami mixed with a other flavor I cannot remember. The sour tsunami flavor was definitely sour and packed a punch! I thought the unicorn condition was adorable with the whipped cream and sparkles. I look forward to going back and trying more flavors. They had over a hundred listed and said they had a ton more that were not on the menu. My only warning is to bring bug spray if you plan to enjoy your ice there. I got eaten alive!

We were warmly greeted and acknowledged when we walked in, and we took a minute to scan over the expansive menu. We both ordered single scoops of the ice cream, and were surprised and happy at the generous portion of ice cream. The ice cream was very creamy, thick, and had great flavor. The cotton candy with the pop rocks was a nice surprise. There are a few tables and a wooden bench along the wall for seating, as well as a long table attached to the wall with chairs. The decor was very Southern, with a Hey Ya'll sign on the wall, and a few quoted pictures around the walls. It was very cute. I will definitely return because of how close this location is to where I recently moved, and because of the variety and length of the menu. I would love to come back and try the bakery or coffee items. When we left, we were given a happy farewell.

The staff in the evening are young and very immature. Service is not their main concern. We were helped by a rude young lady, and we had a question about the size of the cups, she was actually annoyed that we asked and she held up the cups with a smirk and turned colleagues and started laughing... we placed our order and she waited on the next customers who got their ice cream 10 minutes before we did as ours sat on the counter and melted. before we were called. When the owner and managers are there during the day, the shop is well run, and the attitude is pleasant. But the evening was a we terrible experience. Bad service and warm ice cream!

I especially appreciated the variety of local vendors and products available throughout the market. I also stopped by the deli and tried both the meatball sub and Italian sub, and they did not disappoint. The portions were generous, flavorful, and incredibly filling. The fresh lemonades were a great addition as well. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the Detwiler's cookies were another highlight of the visit. Overall, it was a fantastic shopping experience, and I've officially become a fan. I'll definitely be back!

The building it self is pretty large and wasn't expecting to walk in to a store with so much to see and samples in every corner you turn plus a bakery with danish and croissants sold in singles or packs, everything in the bakery looked delicious! There is a lot of product here you probably won't find in other areas of Florida but you can also find a lot of the same stuff at Publix. When I came to this store on a Tuesday afternoon there was a lot of people shopping here. They lay out is the same as most stores but what is unique is the bakery is to the left when you walk in and the bakery offers a lot of pastries like danish and croissants in their case for single purchases and also already packed. I had never visit this specific chain store and after doing some research I out these stores are only in Manatee and Sarasota county's. Very unique store with some different varieties but also keep and eye on some items , I wouldn't buy cleaning products here or body care items as those can be found for a better price at Publix and often BOGO but some other items like candy's in packaging toward the produce área was interesting they also offer a wide variety of cut fruit. Beware if you don't like seafood the smell starts to sneak on you as soon as you get to the produce área and it's pretty strong. Costumer service here doesn't come close to like at Publix but overall a store to look at if you are near one in any of the the two county's they are in. Four stars, why? because of the strong odor of fish and I felt like the store didnt have enough space for costumers to get around ,to many displays of products in the middle off the aisle.

The coffee shop is in the old 1912 Palmetto State Bank building and you could tell! It was super cute. We loved it. The coffee itself was amazing as well - very smooth. After some research, we figured out that Eleanor's gets their coffee from Banyan Coffee, which is a local Palmetto family that roasts coffee beans locally!!!
