Love this place. I have a sweet tooth and love coffee flavored ice creams. This place has the coolest name, lol. The ice cream is home made, says the sign. Delicious treats at a good price too. They even have little pup cups for our 4 legged frnds. They do have some 'adult' flavors that have alcohol in them. A nice location (regatta pointe marina) for an ice cream break. Stopped in today and even got to taste test a new treat they are working on. Mmm

    Green Day! Yummy.

Yummmm! I love the fun names of the ice cream and sorbet. I recommend "Hammer Time" with double stuffed Oreos. They offer a punch card for frequent customers.

Dog friendly "ice cream" for the pup

LOVED Alice Scooper's! I am always in search of a good Key Lime ice cream and they did not disappoint. Everything I tasted was delicious and the service was excellent. Even better, they are super dog friendly. My pup was patiently waiting outside when they welcomed her in and offered her a pet friendly custom dog "ice cream" treat. She loved it!

Good but odd texture, almost "airie" ice cream, I'd go back. Good service. Difficult parking situation.

Just recently they only had one vanilla frosted donut left and both my kids wanted one. Of course one wanted sprinkles and the other didn't. Without me even asking they offered to cut it in half and sprinkle half and then cut a different type of donut in half so they both had one full donut. It was hilarious and sweet all at the same time and saved me from a toddler melt down. We will continue to come back often and are so excited for the new location with the drive thru!

The cost was $7.50 for two scoops, $3.75 a scoop. My favorite ice cream store in NYC isn't even this expensive. I paid and told myself it must be made with really good ingredients for that price. I ordered the strawberry and banana crème brûlée flavors. Got to my car, tasted the ice cream. What a disappointment. The strawberry had NO FLAVOR and It had NO STRAWBERRIES. There was not one piece of strawberry in the scoop not even any seeds. It was barely even pink in color. Not sure if somebody messed up the recipe but there was no sign that this was strawberry ice cream. The banana ice cream also had no flavor and definitely no bananas or brûlée (caramelized sugar) for that matter. It was also supposed to have toffee chips which it did not. Clearly this place is lacking in quality. It's insulting to pay $7.50 for ice cream that wasn't what it was supposed to be. I had two scoops of ice cream base with no additional flavor. If the owners are ok with putting out product that is far from what they claim it to be, it's a one and done for me. My guess is they hope people order the sundaes etc loaded up with Reese's or other toppings and won't notice the flavorless ice cream. Good luck to them. UPDATE: OWNER RESPONDED saying I had the wrong business because they don't offer Reese's as a topping and that "isn't their pricing." I double checked and THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE RIGHT BUSINESS that I wrote about. My Reese's comment was a hypothetical thought. I didn't say I had it there. If the price I was charged isn't the right price, I suggest doing some research into your employees. There were 3 young kids working when I went in on Sunday evening. I WAS DEFINITELY CHARGED $7.50 FOR A CUP OF ICE CREAM WITH 2 SCOOPS. Personally I think this is not an appropriate response from the owner. How many ice cream stores offer banana crème brûlée ice cream? You know it was your store. My concern about the fact that there was no fruit or even flavor in the ice cream was not addressed. You try to write it off as my mistake and that I'm reviewing the wrong store. I'm in the food industry. This is no way to do business. Take some responsibility and or accountability. Perhaps an explanation as to why the ice cream had no fruit? Was it a bad batch? These things happen. I can understand that. Making excuses and not taking accountability, I can't deal with. If you want to have a successful business, I highly suggest you DO BETTER!

Sweetberries itself is built around the aspect of a good southern family, giving their cream to others in the spirit of good heart, and boy do I love their cream! I do have to touch on one aspect of family, sometimes families split apart. Being from Sarasota, we had a sweetberries location five minutes from my house. Unfortunately that location closed and It felt like a bad divorce, going to the other parents house to spend some time with them. As I sat down today, I ordered the vegetable and beef soup and boy was it good. It was hotter than black asphalt on a hot Florida summer day. The flavor was immaculate and was made with fresh vegetables and beef that tasted like it was butchered the previous morning. Then, I was delighted to receive my vanilla concrete with raspberries and chocolate chips... my go to. I'm not sure if it's the ambiance, quality ingredients, or smiling faces but man is it good. The produce section is always piled high with the most beautiful displays of fruits and vegetables. They make fresh salsa in-house, have an entire area of fresh fruit (even a station where you can core your own pineapple!), and offer some of the freshest seafood and meats around. The deli is just as impressive, with sandwiches, soups, and salads -- and you can have a sandwich made exactly how you like it. There's even a cheese bar where they sample specialty cheeses. Around special occasions like Valentine's Day, you'll find them hand-dipping chocolate-covered strawberries and offering samples. Their bakery is incredible. Everything is made from scratch -- the cinnamon rolls are absolutely amazing, and we love the cookies and cakes. They bake their own bread and even make their own donuts. From the produce to the meat department to the bakery, everything at Detwiler's is truly top-notch. They also have an ice cream counter featuring homemade Yoder's ice cream. You can grab a sundae, milkshake, or even an açai bowl while you're there. Yes, it's always busy -- but somehow the checkout lines move quickly every single time. They are incredibly efficient, and the staff is some of the friendliest and most helpful you'll find anywhere. The store is beautifully decorated, with each department thoughtfully themed. They play uplifting Christian music throughout the store, and no matter how crowded it gets, it's always a pleasant experience. People are genuinely smiling -- even the shoppers seem happy to be there. If you're visiting from out of town, Detwiler's is a must-stop. And if you're local, it deserves a permanent spot on your weekly shopping list. Decor, quality, service -- it's a 10 out of 10 every time.

Regardless of the exact number of possible flavors I doubt that you'll get through all the possibilities since making decisions is often hard, and making good decisions quickly is even harder, so I decided to keep it simple and ordered a large "tiger's blood" although the sour cherry and sour grape combinations were speaking to me which I hope to try in the near future, I based my decision today on the status quo bias and because it was extremely warm and humid out, or maybe it's my tendency to stick with what I know, instead of choosing something new and different. I often see the alternative as a risk or just not worth the trouble, even if it might be better, although after my first bite I wish I had ordered something different, but these are so refreshing I was somewhat happy with my decision. No matter what you're craving I doubt very many people go with their original choice after standing in line for more than a few minutes. Everyone's a kid when it comes to SnoBalls even the most sophisticated palette struggles when given more than a few choices so don't hold up the line and pick one we all are feeling the same anxiety. The staff here is very friendly, accommodating and understanding of the process - the prices are fair or at least manageable if you're a wet ice junkie. You probably should order one size larger than your thinking to eliminate any regret when the spoon scrapes the bottom of the cup...
