It's been a while since we've been here, so I'm not sure when the gravel was replaced, but it was a nice surprise! They have a family deal for $10 including tax. You get 2 regular and 2 kiddie cones. That'd be perfect for a family of four when the cravings hit. I naturally had to start off the season with Honeydew. Sweet, pleasant, and a vivid green. I'd recommend that flavor if you're unsure what to try next. My family also recommends guava, strawberry and blue raspberry. The butterfly toppings got a thumbs down from both kiddos lol, they loved the iced though! (Employees didn't have masks on when we went, so if that's something that may bother you, just a heads up to be prepared. They may have them on another day, but we were slightly shocked they didn't today)

Nostalgic of home and my childhood adventures to the Snowball stand in New Orleans…read more Pelican's Snowballs in Augusta, GA, offers a wide variety of flavor combinations. The shop has an assortment of colorful, sweet treats, and life-sized indoor games making it a fun spot for families, kids, and anyone looking to cool off during the hot Georgia summer months. I have had Pelican's three times while visiting Georgia- two with their special events food truck and another at this location. They offer a range of flavor options for toppings and add-ins like milk or ice cream. My favorite flavor is Birthday Cake. Service is always good for a pleasant experience. It all started with a visit to Chalmette, La and now this Augusta location is part of the Pelican's Snowballs franchise, which has locations throughout the southeastern U.S.

Back when a Snoball shop was just a dream, we didn't know much, but we knew we wanted soft ice and great true-to-life flavors! After much research (eating lots of snoballs), we found what we thought was the very best ice shaver and flavors. The soft, fluffy ice originating in New Orleans blew us away and so, "New Orleans" style snoballs it is! But we didn't stop there. Some really misguided folks think that snoballs are for kids. OK. Let's offer something for the more sophisticated palate. That is how we ended up with our other favorite offering--Italian Ice. Georgia summers are HOT! And Italian ice offers a great cold treat that isn't heavy--just refreshing. When the oppressive humidity of Georgia is weighing you down, our light, ice cold Italian Ice hits the spot! All of our flavors are made in house so that we are able to control the quality and consistancy. Almost all of the flavors are made with fresh fruit and have NO artificial flavors or coloring, giving our customers the most natural Italian ice in the area! We didn't stop there though! You can never have enough cold treats so what else can we offer? How about Dippin' Dots? Our shop is one of the few in the CSRA that sells hand-dipped Dippin' Dots. Right here in little 'ole Appling.
