Actual second time at this location. First visit I dined at nearby cafe then stopped in for regular room in afternoon. Regular room was spacious, well decorated and very clean. Windows usually view other rooms across lot but windows are large and let in lots of sunshine. All rooms have mood lighting, regular lighting and mirrors Tonight we got a weekday overnight deal on jacuzzi room from $225 down to $140. Room is gorgeous and jacuzzi setup is well worth it. You have $5 deposit for TV remote which is returned at checkout. Iron has $10 deposit. Parking is on-site. I recommend using the lot parking as this located right off the Hutchinson river parkway exit for Coop City. I will definitely return again

Price said 50 if u check in on Tuesday. They steal peoples money .

I had lost my purse, which had my house keys and credit card in it, so all I had with me was my phone. I asked the hotel if I could pay with Apple Pay since I didn't have my card, and I just needed a safe place to stay until morning. The receptionist told me they only accept cash or card. I then asked if I could book through Booking.com and pay online, would they let me check in. The receptionist said yes. So I made a reservation and paid upfront through Booking.com. But when I showed him the confirmation, he suddenly told me I couldn't check in until 2 p.m. He hadn't said that earlier. Even though I had already paid, he then told me I had to wait *outside* the hotel. It was 5 a.m., I was alone, a woman in a vulnerable situation, and I had gone out of my way just to find a safe place. I was shocked. When I asked for a refund, the hotel refused. I had spent the last bit of money I had, thinking I'd at least have somewhere safe to stay. Being turned away like that--with proof of payment--was heartbreaking. The receptionist should have told me from the start that I wouldn't be allowed to check in until 2 p.m. Asking someone who's already in distress to wait outside in the early hours of the morning, despite having same day reservation, is completely unacceptable. And refusing to give me a refund made everything worse. This whole experience was deeply disappointing and honestly, shameful.

Saturday October 3rd, my family and I drove 3 hours to NY city. We arrived to the Marriott…read moreresidence Inn Bronx, Metro after having been to the old Saint Raymond's cemetery to visit the family mausoleum. We were exhausted to say the least. We walk in the lobby with our 5 and 10 year old and we are hit with the smell of gas. Unmistakable gas. I stay calm and tell my husband to go to the room with the kids while I speak to the front desk. As I am waiting for another guest to check on, a woman comes through the doors and makes a face like she smelled something awful. I said,"do you smell that?" She said, "it's so bad". While the other guest was still checking in, the smell is not disappating, it's getting worse. There was another woman that had come out from the office and was behind the front desk, she asked how she could be of assistance. I told her I smelled gas and it was so strong, the other woman behind me said "something's not right". The employee didn't say anything to me and she walked away. She was gone for a couple minutes and when she had come back, she said that she just spoke to the people in the kitchen and everything is fine. I offered to call the gas company or the fire department. The employee says that they will take care of it. As I was walking back to the elevator, I see some sort of control panel on the wall to the left that is blinking "trouble" and another light blinking that mentions an "exhaust". I immediately walk back to the front desk and tell the woman again that the control panel is blinking "trouble" and she follows me to see what I'm talking about. She tells me she will let the manager know. She also states she's sure everything is fine and that that's been going on for "quite some time". I head up to my room to get my kids and get out of there. Clearly, my concerns were just blown off. We aren't just talking about someone that got my eggs wrong for breakfast. I walk in this hotel with my two kids and I'm almost knocked down by this awful smell and no one is telling me what will be done to asses the dangerous situation. The fact that I hear an employee tell me it's been going on for "quite some time" tells me I'm being blown off. A few minutes later, my husband comes down to return the cart that we had used to bring the luggage up and he sees the firemen in the lobby. Anthony passes by someone at the front desk and asks if the fireman found a gas leak. Without answering his question, the person at the front desk says "was that your wife that called the fire department? The manager would like to know what room you're in". In hindsight, no one contacted us after that, not a phone call or a knock on the door so we assume my email was flagged to not receive any feedback about our visit. Anyway, as my husband was coming back up to our room to help me bring the kids back downstairs to get out of the hotel, he sees a fireman. He asks the fireman if everything is OK and if there is a leak. The fireman responds "yes, we're just trying to locate the leak now." Not one acknowledgment from the staff! Not one from the manager, who requested our room number)! And not one explanation was not offered! In fact, a deflection, when my husband asked the employee if the fireman found a gas leak! She deflected the question by asking if it was his wife that called the fire department and what room we were staying in. We are only to assume that if it was going on for "quite some time " someone neglected their responsibility to keep the guests safe. To say we are appalled is an understatement. Validating our concerns, offering an action plan to call someone who can keep us safe... that would've been the best course of action to take. That would've made us feel safe that we traveled there with our kids. Corporations like Marriott would be much more well off if they appealed to their guests human side instead of their wallets.

I don't even know where to begin. So we get here at 12:30…read moream on may 8th 2023 which is a Monday because it is after midnight. The clock in the front right in the window clearly says Monday may 8th They allowed my partner (who is a male and looks nothing like me) to go inside and get a room for us with my ID and sign for it on the "registration card" The front desk didn't see I was there yet at all. The hours clearly say Monday to Thursday 20 an hour and then Friday to Sunday it's more expensive. My partner says 5 hours and hands them 100 dollars and they wrote my first name and time stamped the registration card. As you'll see in the pictures attached it clearly says may 8th at 1230 am They didn't write the amount of hours paid for or any special policies. The front window says prices for extra people or extra hours but that's it. We are sleeping at 415 am and the phone starts ringing. They tried to tell us our time was up and we had to get going. We then stated we paid 100 for 5 hours and they then say that on the weekends it is 100 for 4 hours I then chime in and stated it was 1230 am when we checked in which is a Monday not Sunday. She then tells us THAT 6 AM STARTS A NEW DAY NOT MIDNIGHT THIS WAS NEVER TOLD WHEN SHE TOOK A FEMALES ID FROM A MALE and allowed him to sign my name without seeing me or even asking if I agreed when she did later on (after we already had the room key) AND THERE IS NO SIGN ANYWHERE STATING THAT AND THE "registration card" which is just a index card doesn't state it either. They then threatened to call the cops if we didn't leave which I didn't mind and encouraged her to call because it's clearly a scam. They then send someone upstairs. Who is in complete plain clothes and has nothing identifying himself as security at all who then bangs on the door erratically and tells my partner that he can come down to talk to the woman about it at the desk. So now at 415 which is only 3 hours and 45 minutes into our stay theyre waking us up and forcing my partner who needed to sleep for work to now waste more time we paid for to go downstairs and see that there was no sign and they're lying and stealing pretty much. He comes back upstairs and tells me there's no sign and two minutes later the self appointed "security" comes back and starts banging on the door again. This is now when I decide I'm going to go down as well. Not only did the woman refuse to give me a copy of the card that my signature and identity was forged onto but when she finally allowed me to take a picture the card clearly states it's may 8th and the clock on the window clearly said Monday may 8th as well. So then I ask when the manager is going to be there and she says call tomorrow afternoon. I then ask the name of the manager and she claimed not to know. SO NOT ONLY DID THIS HAPPEN AND WE END UP LEAVING AT 450 but the room had a completely broken mirror that was there last week as well. And the smoke and carbon alarms were completely hanging off and detached. The sink is beyond clogged up. My partner slipped and fell in the shower because it wasn't cleaned properly AND THE SHEET AND YES IM SAYING SHEET NOT SHEETS BECAUSE IT IS ONLY A TOP SHEET ON A MATTRESS NO FITTED SHEET AND IT WAS COMPLETELY STAINED WITH BLOOD!!!! Not only should we have been allotted our full time but refunded and put in a non hazardous clean room. The fire Marshall and whomever else need to come get them to fix this. Especially if they're going to charge what they do and steal from people after making up fake policies.

Just a heads up, the hotel is located in a kind of shady part of the Bronx. So keep that in mind. We didn't mind it at all and never had any issues regarding with that. The rooms were nice and clean. One of the biggest things we did like was that it was walking distance to EVERYTHING you could need: Across the street there is a place called Sandbar Cafe. This place was amazing. Super clean place, kind of like a buffet where you pay for the weight of your food. Also right down the block there's a deli place with food. Close by you will also find a Walgreens, Dunkin Donuts, Burger King, Hard Rock Cafe, Yankees Stadium, a couple of little bars, smoke shop, souvenirs, I even saw an urgent care as we took a walk. So the fact that everything is soo close by made up for the location! So if you're not afraid, I would recommend this place! You are literally surrounded by everything if you don't mind talking walks! Oh! There is also a Deli that is open 24 hours next door, to the south. They have everything including all kinds of food they cook. Literally you are walking distance to just about anything you need.
