I also had a good experience with Giselle, the doctor, for my exam. My qualms are solely with the front desk staff. Specifically a heavier set brunette woman who sits at the computer closest to the wall. She can't even be bothered to look up from her computer screen to greet or speak with incoming customers - even when they direct questions to her. She is exceptionally rude and quite frankly, if I didn't have such a great experience with Patricia and Giselle, I'd never come back. This is a luxury eyewear store so I expected to be treated as such. Especially since I dropped over $840 on a pair of glasses here, after insurance. I work in the customer service industry and have for the last 13 years and as a manager, I'd want to address this behavior immediately so that it doesn't deter business. It takes very little to look up from a computer to greet and make eye contact with paying customers who are needing support. Knowing that Visual Eyes has another location in Delray, I may consider going there to see if the front desk staff has basic customer service skills before I find a new optometrist.

Fast forward eight months to October, and the Versace pair completely collapsed. I returned to the store seeking a replacement, but of course, the warranty had expired. They offered to order screws to repair the sunglasses. After waiting about a week, I received a call from the store saying I would have to repair the sunglasses myself. I refused, as I had been explicitly told that the store would handle the repair. The right thing to do here would have been to exchange the sunglasses! I guess you really do get what you pay for.

My husband recently got a prescription for eyeglasses and has been shopping around. Today I was perfectly comfortable relaxing on the couch when he announced he wanted to go to the mall to purchase some sunglasses frames which he would have converted to prescriptions. Anyway, we went to Sunglass Hut which is where he wanted to go from the start. When we entered the store, the gentleman who was working with us was very pleasant. He directed my husband to a few selections and he was in the process of narrowing down the one he wanted to purchase. However, while all this was happening, there was another woman who was working with a customer and came over in our direction. She needed to get behind the register which I was standing by and instead of saying "excuse me" so I could give her more space, she just literally squeezed by stepping on the back of my foot with ! Stunned I kept watching to see what she was going to do which was her just going to the male coworker and having a whole conversation with no regard. Here comes the better part, I had moved to another area of the store to look at some glasses and brush off the experience when the next female worker was working with another customer and I guess felt I did not need access to view the glasses in that area and literally blocked me my access. I said "excuse me" and she acted liked she did not need to give me access. They spoke a different language so I don't know and I will not accuse them of saying these customers are not serious because "they" are all the same so didn't need to focus on us anymore. I was not going to wait for a third thing to happen so I told my husband to put the glasses he wanted back because we were buying them from this store. I have not written a bad review in a while and give stores I visit the benefit of the doubt but the disrespect was blatant, I couldn't let it go. Based on the other reviews, not worth your time and energy!
