I arbitrarily picked LAMMS Well Service and Mike was very pleasant ( he is a little smart alecky, but so am I) and came out that day for an inspection ($175). He did not see any obvious reasons why the current well was not OK, just a new pump was required. He stated what the process would be as they replaced the well and evaluated the well itself. After I dug out the access hatch to the underground well house / pump LAMMS came out, pulled the old well pump (from 1980) , put a new pump in, evaluated the well as to depth and drawdown, installed the final pump and piping. Everything was completed in about a half a day.

After not getting a call back on Monday morning, I called G again and the lady acknowledged getting my message but said the guys were out on a couple of emergencies and would call me back. Having not heard from G, in the afternoon I called again and got the answering machine. Since then, I have made three calls and all went to the answering machine with no call back. I contacted this firm as it is local and my neighbor said he had a good experience with them. This afternoon I called a firm in Ludington and they will have someone at the house tomorrow morning.
