I had one well…read morecontractor come out and they said the well was bad and I needed a new well, and they were busy for the next 6 months. I arbitrarily picked LAMMS Well Service and Mike was very pleasant ( he is a little smart alecky, but so am I) and came out that day for an inspection ($175). He did not see any obvious reasons why the current well was not OK, just a new pump was required. He stated what the process would be as they replaced the well and evaluated the well itself. After I dug out the access hatch to the underground well house / pump LAMMS came out, pulled the old well pump (from 1980) , put a new pump in, evaluated the well as to depth and drawdown, installed the final pump and piping. Everything was completed in about a half a day.

I contacted this firm as it is local and my neighbor said he had a good experience with them. This afternoon I called a firm in Ludington and they will have someone at the house tomorrow morning.
