After not getting a call back on Monday morning, I called G again and the lady acknowledged getting my message but said the guys were out on a couple of emergencies and would call me back. Having not heard from G, in the afternoon I called again and got the answering machine. Since then, I have made three calls and all went to the answering machine with no call back. I contacted this firm as it is local and my neighbor said he had a good experience with them. This afternoon I called a firm in Ludington and they will have someone at the house tomorrow morning. I do not recommend Gustafson.

We did not get an estimate for this work prior to their work. We got a bill for over $2600. The hourly charge for labor was $165/hour (7 hours for 2 men) and $105 (2 hours). I researched pay scale for well drillers online with the most skilled, experienced worker the rate is not more than $35.00/hour-- https://www.payscale.com/research/US/Job=Water_Well_Driller/Hourly_)In addition, they charged me almost double for the cost of the tank ($1,200.00) which is available through a distributor for less than $650.00. The owner was also unavailable for weeks and difficult to communicate with. I would not recommend this business.

Walkerville's response? They told me to move my driveway! I have done business with contractors in Oceana County for over 20 years and have NEVER encountered a company so unprofessional, rude, overpriced, untruthful and lazy. Every time I called him to ask about the well he assured me he would get the job done. We are 3 hours away and thought we could trusted this guy, what a mistake that was. Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.
