I don't think I can describe how much I love The Press Room. I love sitting outside when it's sunny because I get the warmth of the sun and the buzz of the high street all in one. I am about to go on my second flat white of the morning - a must try! - and it's only been less than an hour I've been here. Whilst I've been here many times I'm a little embarrassed to say I don't know the owner's name (I must ask next time), but he is always friendly and was especially good when we took the girlfriend's parents there. The breakfasts are good value (bearing in mind the neighbourhood) and tasty. If you get a window seat or one of the benches on the pavement it is a great place to watch St. Margarets go by.
