Everything went extremely well! I'm a returning customer and very happy with Tim's customer…read moreservice, knowledge, and technical skills. I initially called on AT Appliance in 2020 to service my refrigerator motor. When my refrigerator was leaking water this time (6 years later) I found my previous receipt of service and called AT Appliance again. They were very responsive and scheduled me for next day service. Tim called me before his arrival and was able to repair the leak and also returned today to replace the water dispenser part that I requested. Looking at my previous receipt from 2020 it turned out Tim was the same technician that helped me back in 2020. I was pleased to realize this and also to experience the same quality work that was done back then. Tim really went above and beyond to deliver reliable quality service. His work is honest with transparency, clean and organized. I appreciate reading reviews of other customer's true experiences and wanted to make sure to write this review to share with others that are looking for a creditable appliance service. I highly recommend Tim's service.

They were polite, professional, reasonably priced, and very patient for payment (our fault hehe). The -1 star is only for the fact that the correct diagnosis was one that chatGPT suggested (a faulty coil) as opposed to their more expensive original diagnosis of a faulty valve. Thanks AI! This is the second time we've used their services and will continue to do so, as alas these older but more reliable machines of ours are starting to show their age.

Since the cooktop is older he had to try to find the parts so it couldn't be fixed right away (which was totally understandable). However, after texting back and forth over the next few weeks he basically just stopped communicating and following up altogether and left me hanging. Mind you I had already paid the diagnosis fee of $55.00, which would have been applied to the repair. But now I'm just out that money with my stove still not working right. Not sure if he's just too busy or doesn't want to bother with the job since it's an older unit but the lack of communication and follow-through is disappointing.

They were able to schedule me for the very next day and provided a convenient 2-hour arrival window. The diagnostic fee was $49 (they accept credit card and Apple Pay with a 3% fee, or cash), and they apply that amount toward repairs if needed. I appreciated the communication throughout the process; I received a text about 30 minutes before the technician arrived with an ETA, and once he got there, he called me. Alan was courteous and professional. He pulled the dishwasher out to fully diagnose the issue and started a cycle to pinpoint exactly where the leak was coming from. Once he found the problem, he showed me with his flashlight...somehow the heating element had tilted and melted a hole through the dishwasher tub . Unfortunately, at that point, repair was no longer an option and I would need a new dishwasher. Although it wasn't the outcome I was hoping for, Alan gave thoughtful advice on replacement options and mentioned that, in his experience, simpler models tend to last longer, which was helpful and easier on the wallet. Overall, I was very satisfied with the service. Professional, responsive, and reliable, if I ever have another appliance issue I won't hesitate to call them!

I don't like to post reviews that are negative, but I want to balance out the experience I see most…read morehave had with the current 4.8 rating. I called for a washer and dryer repair. I hoped to do better than the Frigidaire repair process, which was a flat rate $335 per machine. I called and scheduled the appointment. I was told there was some static on the line. I didn't hear any but they asked me to text my address, name and issue. I assume to save them some trouble of taking notes or keeping things straight. The quoted in home consult was $65. I wasn't home, so my wife met the man and was told $115. She paid it. I requested the $50 refund which they provided. The quoted price to repair was $1100. I could start a business tomorrow doing home consults and quote astronomical prices for a repair, then do nothing due to high prices and keep the $65 across many homes to make $. I get charging a fee to cover time. But an $1100 repair for $250-300 worth of main board parts ( what was used to repair them) is a bit much and more expensive than Frigidaire charges. I investigated the parts used to fix it at online retailers. They need to quote more realistic prices. I ended up paying them $65 and paying Frigidaire for the repair. I would not call them again based on their business practices. Maybe they can handle simple repairs more easily and perhaps they charge more reasonable prices for those. I am not sure.

I had an outstanding experience with this business during every part of the process!…read more Last week, my one year old very expensive Speed Queen (SQ) dryer, which apparently even the guys at the firehouse can't kill, stopped heating. With a mystery on my hands and rage in my heart, I had multiple interactions with SQ. They initiated a ticket with a local service provider, whom I immediately yelped and learned were widely despised! No way! When I found that Coast Appliance Services, with their incredible reviews, were an alternate option for Speed Queen servicing, I jumped at the chance to work with these folks. My initial phone call was quick, easy, and friendly. I received the confirmation call I expected the day before my appointment and was thrilled that they had noted and were trying to accommodate my work schedule. The day of, I received a 20-30 minutes to arrival text and found Edgar in my driveway exactly within that window. Edgar was super professional, efficient, and effective, and the work area was so clean that even my pack of pit bulls, who needed to do a full investigation of Edgar's work after he left, couldn't find anything weird to snack on or track around the house. Amazing! I really appreciated that in a stressful situation, Edgar and this team were so on the ball and keen to explain what they found, what would happen, and that I could call them directly for any future issues. An added bonus? Our dryer dries again! Life is way easier when your dryer just, you know, dries. For those annoying times when it doesn't, I recommend contacting these folks immediately. I've already shared their info and my experience with them with friends and family, and if any of my appliances misbehave in the future, this number will be the one I call!
