Jennifer and Mochi are incredibly kind -hearted, and you can genuinely tell they love what they do and care deeply about every person who walks through their door. Mochi is an absolute sweetheart, and even by my second visit had such a great memory she already knew my name as I went to check in. I first went in pretty early in my pregnancy just wanting a quick confirmation that my baby was okay, and instead of feeling rushed, Jennifer took her time, explained everything she was seeing, and gave me so much helpful information that immediately put me at ease. At that visit, I found out I was having twins, I was there alone and feeling overwhelmed. Jennifer was so patient and compassionate. She even gave me the time to try to FaceTime my husband, and when he didn't answer, my friend--never once making me feel rushed. Moments like that mean so much. What makes this place so special is that you truly feel like you have a friend with you during your appointment. Jennifer talks you through everything she sees, explains what to expect, and even shared helpful recommendations for doctors when I asked, along with great tips for managing nausea. I've continued going through as I've purchased the membership, and every visit reinforces how much she truly cares about each and every one of her clients. It's rare to find a place that combines professionalism, knowledge, and such genuine warmth. Secondly the sonographer was AMAZING! She created a beautiful experience for me and my husband and honestly it's more fairy tale here than at your doctors office in my opinion. Especially for your first time around this entire experience was just so wonderful. The store had an amazing selection of things not just for baby but things dad can look at too. My husband never felt uncomfortable or out of place either, he was included just as much as I was and he shopped and enjoyed the experience. We also got the early gender test done (she draw blood or does the snap) first off if you want to know gender early GO HERE!!!! The snap test was super quick, actually painless, and you get results within the week. In my experience, working for many years in healthcare, that's pretty darn STAT. I was in at the requested time of 8:10 for an 8:40 am scan. They had a young man performing Covid screenings at the entrance and I was immediately checked in and taken back not 5 minutes later. I was out the door before my appointment time. I've never been registered and scanned in less than 20 minutes for anything, ever! I was completely impressed. I have been here previously for walk-in (ie. first come, first served) lab work and there was a bit of a wait at lunch time, which I expected. The registrar who took my info and got me checked in was polite, friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this Sentara location for diagnostics!

I came and signed in; she gave me forms to fill out and copied my insurance card. I only had to wait about 5-10 minutes before they called my name. The lady who did my procedure was very nice, she showed me where to undress and during the whole procedure she was very professional and kind. I was very comfortable the whole time. I was in and out for both types of scans in under 45 minutes and that included 10-15 minutes of intake forms. The *only* negative I can think of is the waiting room. I've been to a few hospital breast centers that have very relaxing/calming waiting areas (which was necessary because they had a LONG wait). The waiting room here is sparse and not super attractive so if you are really worried for your appointment, there isn't much to distract or calm you. But since I was taken back for my scans as soon as I finished the intake forms, it didn't really matter. Overall, I highly recommend this office.

So I had an induction 5/8/25 and the staff was amazing on the 3rd floor. Nurses Sydney Overton and Taylor Abrams were my nurses and they made sure all of my needs and questions were catered to - that being my first induction out of my three kids. They called my doctor when I had questions or needed permission to start epi or pitocin. The anesthesiologist came to my room for my epi promptly, another came back to increase my dose when active labor started and it got intolerable. They reminded my husband post birth to visit the cafeteria for food before it closed at 3 am (I gave birth @0121). The upstairs, 4th floor wasn't as good of an experience with the nurses - it seems like that's where they put the underdogs bc they seemed not to be able to handle as much pressure or needs of a laboring woman just from my experience with them. Some were too timid and hovered, some were too direct when their opinion wasn't asked for, but I had great experience with the housekeeping and chefs who made sure I ordered food and got my food timely and made sure my room was cleaned. The coffee was actually great from the floor and drinks and snacks were stocked. The food from the cafeteria was great! I had oatmeal, chicken parm, broccoli, Mac n cheese, chicken tenders, fried fish, curly fries at different times. Overall, I had a great experience for the first time out of my 3 kids (I gave birth at NMCP with the first two so my standards are probably very low) and I'm grateful. I've seen horrific reviews too and I am sorry to those women. To anyone who may be seeking to deliver here, I hope you are treated as well as I was. I know some mothers are scared of a terrible experience, but come in with an open mind and friendliness and you may be treated so well.

After a delay with setting up my appointment everything was very smooth on scheduling. The day of the appointment everything was smooth on check in for my scan. The staff was caring, friendly and kept me comfortable. The testing area was clean. I was given a disk of my scan upon checkout. I would recommend Chesapeake Regional Imaging for an open MRI.
