It is so nice to have a quality nail salon in Stone Harbor. But it's not cheap: After all, it IS Stone Harbor, so you know they gotta pay the rent, but it's not as bad another salon in town. And I love being able to get a good pedicure without going off island, even in winter. Although in the off season the days they're open are greatly reduced, but you can call and get an appointment for the days they are open. Their foot baths are clean and sanitary. This is THE most important thing to me, having gotten a fungus at another salon several years ago which took forever to get rid of. I really like Ivy who does exactly as I ask when trimming my nails (I like mine really short because I work out and don't want them hitting the tips of my shoes). And it's easy to explain things to her because she speaks English pretty well. They have a nice variety of services, from full luxury or rejuvenation pedicure to a quick trim and color change. And my color almost always lasts a full 4 weeks, which is about how often I get a pedicure. read more

Walked in for a pedicure...it was literally painful. It hurt the whole time. My nail technician cut my toe (more than once) so bad it bled the entire pedicure. She kept putting that blue stuff on it but that didn't help. A one minute total leg massage. Super unimpressed. When a technician walks up to you with a dirty plastic bin that holds her utensils, walk out. There are no obvious signs that the cuticle cutters are sanitized. They look quite the opposite. Very disappointed that Stone Harbor wouldn't offer a more professional nail salon. read more

Terrible experience. Gel nail polish had streaks so I asked for another coat. This did not help. When the nail tech rubbed the alcohol on the nails, the color came off. The Tech also put thick white sunscreen on my hands presumably because of the lights used for the gel mani. The mani pedi took 2 hours and I did not want to stay to have the nails fixed, so I told them I would just not pay for the manicure. At checkout they asked for $49 to which I replied that I would not pay for the mani. The price dropped to $34, but the price advertised for a pedi is only $30. Take your money elsewhere. read more

I get my eyebrows done when I stay here for the summers and I will literally plan when I get my eyebrows done in the months before just so I can get them done here as much as possible. I usually get them threaded not waxed but I prefer here over a threading anytime. They always do amazing. read more

I wish I had know about them all summer! My usual salon was closed for Labor Day so I gave them a try. Seriously the best gel manicure I've ever gotten. Between color coats the tech painted the edges of my nails and had me put them under the light, I soon realized this was so they didn't peel from the top like gel manicures do after a week or so. If that makes any sense. Also got a pedicure and my eyebrows done and bought a bottle of Essie. All for $72. Will definitely go back! read more

This is the worst pedicure I have ever received. After making two appointments for the same time, neither of us were taken on time and we did not receive our pedicures together, which was the whole point of going with a friend. I had a French pedicure with no bottom coat or pink coat. They did uneven white lines and a top coat only. There was no exfoliating scrub, and they did not use toe separators. They also did not show evidence of sanitizing their tools, which totally grossed me out. NEVER AGAIN! I would have expected more from a Stone Harbor Salon. Very disappointed. read more

Terrible, I've given them several tries and each time I leave disappointed. It takes 2 hours and 20 minutes to get a regular pedicure and a gel manicure. I understanding being thorough, but I'm also not trying to spend my entire day in there. Also, They used the same tools they trimmed my toe nails with to then complete my manicure- maybe it's just me, but this is only only place that didn't clean the tools in between- gross. Also, they charge extra to remove your prior polish, what a scam. Go off the island, its worth the extra time and money. read more

I had the worse manicure here. They have the smallest selection of nail color at any salon I've ever been to. The pedicure was ok but the gentleman does not know how to polish nails. I am not very particular but for $45 plus tip please paint the whole nail and without ridges. Polish was all over my cuticles Also not sure it's very hygienic. Never again read more

This salon takes appointments days in advance but doesn't adhere to the time and will certainly expect you to wait. Three customers (including myself) who made appointments in advance left the salon after several walk in customers who arrived after us were seated first. When you are on vacation and you leave the beach to shower for your pedicure but are then expected to wait an hour is annoying. I would not go back because there is a salon in the acme shopping center called First Nails which is worth the drive , they take appointments, and it is also cheaper! read more

I normally do that do this but I feel compelled to tell everyone. I would not recommend this nail salon. They spilled nail polish all over my birkenstocks and stained the shoes. After a couple days they finally agreed to order and pay for my new birkenstocks but they insisted that they had to keep my stained birkenstocks after the inconvjence of spilling on my shoes without the new pair of shoes here. I also had to pay a $25 difference for the new shoes and still had to pay for my manicure. read more

Not a good selection of nail colors without a $3-4 up charge. Tools did not come out of a sanitized sealed bag. Stations were not clean. Was not told there was a $35 minimum to use a credit card and they would not make change for a tip. read more

doesn't even make a difference if you make a reservation because i was in there for my appointment for a manicure at 1:30 and girls walked in for a pedicure at the same time and they sat them and when people would walk in they told them different wait time for one person they said to come back at 5:30 and the next person that walked in they told 3:30....also i was not pleased with my manicure what's so ever read more

Probably the worst manicure I ever had in my life. They took three hours to do a dip manicure. I chose a color and they used a different one. They kept messing them up to redo them and at least two nails chipped the next day when other nail salons have had it last for well over three weeks for me. With not even a week after all nails were chipped. So horrible and they seemed rude. It was dirty and horrible nail color choice and expensive. Do NOT come here. read more
