Being on Vacation and having your little one need care is one of the most scariest things. I was able to contact my provider from home in California and this place is recommended. I honestly yelped it and it had no wait so I was happy about that. I really didnt want to wait in the emergency department from a hospital when I knew it was a minor thing. When I walked in I was greeted immediately and informed to sign in. I had to fill out a bunch of paperwork due to I was out of state seeking care for my son. The receptionist stated I needed to pay out of pocket and I was fine with it but I knew they could contact my health insurance and get it squared away. After talking to the receptionist she politely obliged and said she would figure it out we just needed to get our son seen. (I thought that was super nice). I honestly waited about 25 min from coming in to being brought into the doctors office. The doctor that saw my son was very knowledgeable and efficient. Loved that fact that he asked us if we had any questions yet he explain everything that he was doing. He went into detail of what was wrong with our 18 month. I am happy to say if I visit family I have a pediatrician to go to. I was in n out within the hour. If I need them I will come here first. Thank you pediatrics on demand!! read more

Although the doctor was great, I can't say the same for the front desk staff. Despite visiting over a week ago, we've still never received the medical records we were told would be updated and posted online the same day. Tried calling for update and wait times are upwards of 15 minutes over the phone. We kept getting some incompetent asshole who continued to answer with "please hold". Customer service is clearly not a strong suit, and I'm sure the lack of intelligence and professionalism on the part of the phone operators have a direct link to why the reviews aren't stellar for the doctor. Definitely going to file a complaint with the department of public health. Despite being piss poor at their jobs, withholding medical records and failing to provide to the patients in a timely fashion is a problem. We could have very well gone somewhere else where the staff and facility are more competent. read more

We needed to visit a pediatrician on Christmas Eve for persistent colds that my daughters had had for many days. A family member had worked with Dr. Rawda previously and thus recommended that we come here. I saw their hours started at 10am so I called to get an appointment and was kept on the phone for nearly 10-15 mins while the agent asked me so many questions about my insurance and such. This process was really frustrating as I just wanted to know their availability for appointments. However, their process seemed to be set up to ask the 1000 questions first, and then pass it onto their customer service center who was supposed to get back to us to schedule the appointment. I wasn't keen on him continuously asking me about all my personal health info and health insurance just to call him back to wait for a call--which never came. So we bundled up the kids to go to the walk-in hours and hoped for the best and not a long wait. When we got there, the waiting room was super cute with a large fish tank, a little kids theater, and fun animal shaped chairs. The exam rooms were also really cute too, our room had a huge unicorn mural on the wall and had a tv in the room. The exam table was even converted into what looked like a little schoolbus that the kids could climb onto with stairs. We were called in pretty quickly to our surprise, and the nurse and doctor were excellent. They were great with the kids and really accommodating to us. Turned out the kids just had colds and we opted to get them swabbed to find out what kind of virus it was. Results came back within a few hours and they texted us with the results and I could pull up the reports on my phone. Really easy peasy and convenient. I definitely recommend this place! We would go back anytime if we were in the area. read more

If I could give them zero stars I would, brought my daughter with ear pain and they had us waiting in the waiting area for more then five hours, sick kids with covid like symptoms and their family member's In the waiting area no purpose of the "drive thru" We couldn't even use the bathroom it was so dirty it smelled so horrible the hours we were waiting never saw anyone cleaning the bathroom nor the waiting area. Worst scan office ever. They charge so much for a 1 second visit what's urgent care for ? To tell me to take my kid to the hospital I'm going sue along with other parents with same issues if the department doesn't do anything about it by this year I'm Tired and fed up with this place on top of the 3-4 hour car wait seriously? very disappoint just tried taking my 16 yr old there with a very infected big toe . ingrown toe nail possibly and was told due to state insurance they wouldn't see her. ( which is BS cuz she was just there 2 months earlier no issues. Then they said they could do a telemedicine only and refer her to a doctor. wait ? Couldn't be happier with this emergency visit. Came in an hour before closing and the staff was as pleasant as if we were there during the day. The entire waiting area is catered to making littles feel comfortable and inviting which is a breath of fresh air from our normal pediatrician office. The pediatrician that took care of our son was outstanding. She was very personable and understanding. She didn't rush the visit at all and listened to us and our son intently. We couldn't be more happy after leaving. Even our son fighting through his fever was looking more spirited and wouldn't stop talking about the doctor and staff. I would give 0 stars if possible. Came here with my 2 1/2 year old because she had a fever, sore throat, runny nose, very lethargic. She has had strep about 3 times this year which is why I was concerned. Went through the drive through and someone came out and took 2 swabs and sent us on our way. Only thing that came back was common cold virus. Never saw a doctor at all. Things were getting worse so we went to advocate urgent care today and found out she has a middle ear infection in both ears, eye infection in both eyes, and hand foot mouth. I told the doctor there about our experience at this place and she even agreed it sounded absurd that the doctor wouldn't want to see the patient and just do swabs. Don't waste your time. read more

Give this place a pass! My young child was sick and I thought she might have an infection. Our primary couldn't see her for 3 days, so I called this place to check whether they accepted her insurance. They did! So I made an appointment online for 8p that night (the earliest time they had available). But by 3p, I figured I'd just wait because they do accept walk-ins and i wanted her seen ASAP. I arrived to an an abandoned building that was boarded up. I had to call again (the address here is inaccurate, they are actually in a much smaller facility in a strip mall across the street). When I finally arrived during a chicago winter, my daughter was asleep in her car seat and their website noted a 4hr wait. I called reception to see if I could wait while outside so as not to wake her (she was miserable). It was then that the receptionist asked about her insurance. I told her the name and she told me that due to a recent change (which wasn't that morning) they no longer accepted our insurance unless their drs were listed as the primary physician. This seems absurd for an urgent care facility targeting children. In a state of panic, I offered to simply pay out of pocket. She refused. What kind of business is this? I'll tell you. One that you should avoid. We ended up going straight to the emergency room of advocate children's, where there was a 30min wait time. We received wonderful service (including valet)! This clinic has great and helpful staff that go the extra mile, but the doctor was very rude and quick. She didn't even give me time to explain what was going on with my son before she cut me off so swiftly and abruptly. My son turned out to have RSV and she definitely showed that she didn't care, and I don't know pediatricians to behave in that manner. We waited in the lobby for about a half hour to be seen. The front desk staff was friendly. However, when they took us back we waited 50 minutes to be seen in the room. I have a two year old so you can imagine this was challenging. I had to come out and beg them to come see us because my soon was crying miserably and I'm 7 months pregnant and needed to go the bathroom but was afraid we would miss our spot. When the doctor finally came in, he spoke so fast and rattled off 3 different things my son could have. He was not sure about any of them... he kept saying it could be this, could be that.. and told him to be swabbed for viruses and the results would come back within 45 minutes. He was rushing through after such a long wait it was frustrating. We went home and were never called with the results. It had been over 2 hours since my son was swabbed. I called back and they were closed and now don't open until 10am and the call center wasn't able to look up the results so we just have wait.. again. I know people are overwhelmed but they need another doctor at this office for it to run smoothly. read more

This place is hit or miss. Sometimes you get good service, other times not so much. I've felt like a Lepper on occasion because of the Insurance I have too. Now today apparently they're too busy for telemedicine. I was told the Dr would call @8. It's now 9:37pm. Could not leave a zero so I had to put A star. The nurse practitioner Michelle came in w/a student nurse w/out my consent. And we were there for my daughter the Nurse just said we'll refer you to a specialist. 13min wait time for literally a 30 second appointment-1minute face time. The Nurse seemed very annoyed attitude and body language not great at all. Get a call back from the office come to find out the lady who introduced herself as a Doctor was a nurse. She falsely gave a title that she was a Doctor. Also my other daughter had heart palpitations and waited 2 hours to be seen and I had to request a ekg. Made an appt for a 1pm drive through Covid test. Arrived at 12:45 and it is now 3pm and Im STILL sitting in the line. Excuses like "we only have 1 dr" should not be used as maybe you shouldn't book appointments you can't handle. So after 2 hours and 15 minutes i still have 3 cars in front of me and little ones in the car screaming. Terrible terrible service and will NEVER return for a covid Test again. UPDATE: DO NOT GO HERE. THIS PLACE IS A COMPLETE SCAM. I have brought my kids here many times for various things. I will never come back after my last experience and will warn all parents about this sham business. DO NOT COME HERE. In short: they will bill INSANELY HIGH amounts to your insurance company. ($2,573 FOR A COVID & FLU VIRUS TEST) My 2yr old daughter was feeling sick in March, I called POD and was scheduled for a E Visit, they were over 20 minutes past the "call" time and it was a waste of time because I had to come in anyways. They said they going to test my daughter for covid / flu & etc. They would do the procedure via parking lot because it was just a nose & mouth swab. After waiting over 40 minutes in my car for someone to come out to do a simple swab, all results came back negative. my daughter was still sick, so I called them again and asked if her sickness could be an ear infection. Which the nurse said "oh yes it defiantly could be an ear infection" which bewildered me that they wouldn't check for that when I brought her the first day. So I had to come back the next day, and wait another HOUR for someone to check her ears (which they were fine) and it was a complete waste of time. Never did I speak with (or even see) a doctor, just nurses. I was upset over the long wait times, and the oversight on checking for an ear infection. But it wasn't until I received the bill that I 100% know this place is a total scam. For running a covid test with flu viruses they billed my insurance $2,573 which I am expected to pay $393.31 out of pocked. The AUDACITY to charge almost $2,600 for a covid / flu test is mind blowing. I will be filing a formal complaint with the BBB and going on every type of platform to WARN OTHERS ABOUT THIS BUSINESS. I don't even think its legal to charge for a covid test, let alone not mention the hefty price tag of their test to parents. Had I known I would have taken my daughter to our main pediatrician during a weekday. It is absurd that they would not disclose that information and just bill $2600 for a FLU VIRUS TEST. I have tried to call their billing department over 10 times with no return call because I am sure they are so busy talking to other families on similar audacious charges. Only leaving one star because you have to rate... DO NOT PICK THIS TO BE YOUR PRIMARY. We have had Numerous useless visits. On one visit, my daughter had been experiencing her feet turning purple while standing and always cold. They told her to wear warm socks and sent us to the ER. ER told them we needed referral for rheumatologist, not One of the suggestions were helpful, either not having a rheumatologist or having age requirements. You should know Where you are referring to. Never knew if we were seeing a Doctor or nurse. CURRENTLY... you cannot speak to someone without having to speak with the answering service first. My daughter started feeling ill on 8/13/22. When I tried making an appointment I was offered one 2 weeks away after stating this was somewhat urgent and needed the office to know what was happening. We had a FaceTime visit 8/15, never told Drs name. when I called to ask for more detailed information for care while waiting for test results, reception said she will speak to doctor. "Okay, mom? Dr said to have her tested" I asked for Drs name (we had Already been tested!) receptionist said "uhm I don't know the Drs name but it's spelled....." I was instructed by testing facility to follow up with primary for orders for new different tests, order sent to lab had no Dr information, no phone number ,name,fax, nothing. After 10 or more times calling they put me on phone with "face time" Dr who "yea hmm hmm"'d Over me speaking, she didn't even hear me say "you are not listening are you?", she continued "yea hmm hmm", following up with "we have no protocol for this, so we do not know what to do or what to tell you"..word for word!!!! I asked for school note to be discreet in which it stated the exact tests that were being done along with incomplete sentences. I left another message saying I needed to speak with a Dr, my return message from a MA was "that they were calling to tell me where to get tested" this was AFTER I INFORMED THEM that their instructions were incorrect and gave them the correct information for future reference. We have been left with bo follow up, no continuous care or help with managing until results come back. I do not even know where the results go to as none of their information was in any orders. We do not feel like a priority ONE BIT! We are just one of over thousands, most of whom are there for school physicals and we'll visit immunizations. We took my niece there for an allergy, we wanted to take her to the hospital but after searching for nearby pediatricians I found this gem, we called them and they told us that they accept walkins, we didn't wait long and the staff was welcoming. the doctor explained her symptoms and her treatment options thoughrely, He gave her a shot and some medicine and it was like magic. Very thorough and knowledgeable; it's scary looking for a new doctor but I couldn't be more pleased. And the staff is so kind and professional. I understand that all pediatric urgents cares are being slammed with rsv and flu, but I will be sure to never return back to this office. I brought my baby in because his pediatrician couldn't get him in today and he's 18 months and has been sick the last few days but developed a wheeze this morning. So i brought him in, waited about an hour to be seen. When the provider came into the room she didn't introduce herself, i didnt even get a name, didn't acknowledge my child, and continued to have her face in her laptop. She then stated "omg they didn't grab his vitals" and then proceeded to try to aggressively place a pulse ox on my sons finger, at this point he's freaking out because he doesn't feel good and has no idea who this provider is. She then stated "well i can't complete my assessment if he's inconsolable, and his vitals aren't accurate so we'll just have to deal with it". I'm sorry but pediatric doctors are supposed to be trained to deal with this lol! She then quickly listened to his lungs and said i hear no wheezing. We'll call you back if anything comes up positive he was swabbed for, and then answered a personal phone call in our room!!! And then as i was packing my baby up she turns around and said oh he tested positive for rhino-entero virus and left. No explanation or anything. If i wasn't a nurse I'd be petrified. But nope no explanation or tips on how to manage. She just said yep you can leave. So I'm going to try to call insurance and dispute any payment because this was a terrible experience. I will never step foot in this facility if my life depended on it!! Very unprofessional staff and careless. The facility needs some cleanup to do. I took my 2yo in on Saturday because she was running a 104 fever. We waited an hour and were called back. We waited another 20mins inside the room to see the doc. The doctor walked in, didn't even introduce herself so I have no clue what her name was. She checks my daughter and requests for a flu and strep test to be done! 10mins later the nurse walks in to perform the tests, she could barely keep a steady hand as I held my 2yo down. She swabbed her throat and again in her nose and I kept telling the nurse that she didn't do it right and that it needed to be done again. She disregarded what I said and ran the tests anyway. 15mins later tests came back negative so doc says you just have to ride it out!!!! We ended up in the ER on Sunday and guess what?? My daughter tested positive for the flu and couldn't be given tamiflu bc she was out of the treatment window!! So now we are on day 6 of high fever that won't go under 101. I took my daughter in to her regular pediatrician and I was told she has developed Pneumonia!!! Stay away from this place and take Your kids to the ER if need be! read more

I had a scheduled appointment for my 6month old today to take a Covid test. My appointment was at 2pm. I arrived at 1:45. I was in the drive thru. I called to check in and the person that answered the phone didn't ask for any of my info but said they would check me in. 30mins went by no one called or came to my car. I called back she took my info and said someone will be with me. Sat for another hour. No one came out or called. I left with no Covid test for my baby. This place is unorganized. Very disappointed with the office staff. I had called to verify they took my insurance (Humana hmo). Was told "absolutely we take that." The following day I went with my 2 year old, only to be told that with the hmo insurance I needed a specific doctor listed as our PCP so we couldn't be seen. We just left this office at quarter to 7pm on a Saturday night. Point being nothing else was opened and our toddler has a really bad eye infection plus an ongoing cold. The front desk staff was very nice/attentive, the office is so well decorated, extremely kid friendly, the nurse who came in first was very thorough/good bed side manner, the doctor was knowledge and knew right away what was wrong with our daughter. He prescribed antibiotics as well as a home remedy to break up the persistent mucus. He was kind, explained everything clearly and caring. We will be back here (hopefully not soon after this visit's follow up on Monday). read more

This clinic is a danger with their diagnoses. My daughter had a fever and they told me she had a kidney infection. After a week getting worse. I took her to her doctor and it turns out that she had pneumonia and COVID. The kidneys were totally fine. I wonder if they will be qualified doctors. read more

Not only was my daughter almost administered the same shots she was previously given with her first visit, they had two profiles made for her and had her birthday wrong. Some receptionists give attitude especially if not asked questions that they don't have programmed in their head already. My daughter had caught blisters on her wrist and the actual DOCTOR at this facility CAME IN CHECKED IT FOR 30 seconds walked out and said it was a bacterial infection. Turns out it was a STAFF infection because a friend of mine who is a nurse at Christ seen a picture and said take my 8 month old to the hospital right away! The Doctor in the ER said any professional could spot it was a staff infection based off the blisters formed. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE ITS NOT WORTH THE CONVENIENCE. My child is not another number/ check which is how this establishment has made me feel. Not to mention the billing staff disgusting!!!
