We cannot commend this practice to you enough, especially if you desire to be "known" and to have personalized care for your precious little ones. Our first daughter was born in May 2019, pre-mature and via an emergency procedure. One of the three doctors from the practice visited us each day, and proactively advocated for both us and our daughter -- both in the hospital and afterwards as we navigated the RVA lactation scene. Shortly into our little one's life, she contracted a rare form of bacteria, was hospitalized for several weeks, experienced many many following ER visits, and then discovered she was born with a chronic condition. As new parents we were frightened, confused, and so far outside of our area of expertise --- but Glen Allen Pediatrics was not. They were ON IT, helping, advising, advocating, and encouraging us every step of the way. Specifically Dr. Goradia, their amazing nursing staff, and front desk and administrative team quickly became like family and helped us navigate both the unchartered waters of caring for a sick little one and the broader central Virginia medical scene. When emergencies arose, they made themselves available to us after hours, squeezed us in, and helped us advocate for our daughter across numerous hospital experiences in RVA and out-of-town. Simply put --- they went above and beyond. Had we chosen a large pediatric practice, I'm confident we would have felt lost and alone --- and our daughter would have received no where near the care, attention, or support than Glen Allen Pediatrics provided. If you feel like you need some large, fancy, well-known RVA Pediatrics practice with updated patient rooms and all the flashy "bells and whistles" --- then this is probably not the place for you. However, if you want exceptional care for your children, to be known by your doctors and nurses, and to be supported and encouraged as parents -- THIS is, in our humble option, the GO-TO practice. At the end of the day, all the fancy updates pale in comparisons to exceptional, personalized, and thoughtful medical care. A+ 100% Can't recommend highly enough.

Ann Marie is the sweetest nurse and will go out of her way to help in any way that she can. Dr. Goradia always takes as much time as needed to answer all of our questions. All sick appointments are taken at the Mechanicsville location and all well appointments are handled at this location. When we arrived, we called them and were told to wait in the car and they would call when our room was ready. They called right on time and we had a great appointment with Dr. Gibson and her nurse. We absolutely love this pair and hope that they will be in practice throughout our son's entire pediatric journey. Dr. Gibson spends so much quality time with her patients. This time, she sat down with us, asked my son questions, played with him, and got a great sense of his development. She is so reassuring and gives great insight when you ask questions. Love her and love RPA! My only critique would be that the look of the office is rather bland for a pediatrician. I think a mural and bright colors would go a really long way!

We finally found the place for us at West End Pediatrics. Dr. Iwashyna is both of our daughter's doctor and is AMAZING! He's helped us through some difficult times as well as just the kids regular sicknesses. He always remains calm and helpful and supportive. He even has a great sense of humor which works for our family! We see the other doctors in the practice if ours isn't available and have no complaints. MY girls love the new fish tank addition to the waiting room!
