The rooms are clean, the waiting rooms are separated by sick and well which puts my mind at ease that my child wont get sick when coming in for a yearly visit. The front desk staff Liz, Debbie, and Amanda are so sweet and they always remember my kids when they come in. Shirley, Karen, Jackie, and Joyce always call back and give the best advice. The pediatricians talk directly to my children and ask them vs asking me and ignoring my children. I love that they don't make me feel rushed and they answer all of my questions. I have been to a few other pediatricians offices that I wont name but I wouldn't return to them because we really can't get this type of care anywhere else. If you need a pediatrician for your children you really should consider them!

The nurses are always super sweet and willing to help, even when I call with what they probably think are silly questions or concerns. The office staff is always patient and courteous and I love how there doesn't seem to be much turnover in the office because it's always the same faces with each appointment. I highly recommend this pediatric practice!

He took such great care of both of my sons. I consider myself very lucky to have him as a doctor for my sons. His father was my summer doctor growing up. We will miss him. And Stephanie in his office is a life saver. She was so helpful and always nice with the barrage of sometimes stupid questions and requests. Gonna miss her

I've seen both doctors. Love Dr. Achterhoff. We left another practice to come here and I was a bit…read moreanxious given the bad experience we had at the other place. Dr. Smith is also very kind and caring and good at making my little one feel safe and comfortable. Unfortunately, he is a little too much of a growth chart stickler and made me panic unnecessarily. He also misdiagnosed a common condition which didn't respond to the treatment recommended. Dr. A is my daughter's regular doctor and she has been much much more conservative with the growth charts, balances seeing the child as a person more than a data point, and also correctly diagnosed her issue. So while both doctors are good, I like Dr. A better so far, and Dr. Smith I'm not so sure yet. Maybe he was just having an off day. Overall this is a great practice.

I felt very fortunate to find this practice; they were so accommodating when I called and told us to come right in. We were worried we'd spend all day sitting in a waiting room, but we were in and out in good time AND received thorough care. Kiddo had a thorough exam, including a rapid test which I appreciated to rule out strep, and appropriate antibiotics sent directly to the pharmacy nearest our rental. I'm glad I went with my gut and opted for this practice with an experienced family doctor to help calm my anxious mom nerves instead of an urgent care, where you usually wind up with a PA. Dr. Olarsch helped save our family vacation!

She's answered some pretty ridiculous questions from this first-time mom and I know I can always call, anytime!! And if I call after ours, I speak to HER not just anyone! I could go on and on about how awesome she is but instead just do yourself a favor and take your kids to her!!!!

All it did was prove to sure up their existing business model. After calling early in the morning and being told I would get a call back about my daughter being seen. Let me restate... my children's only pediatrician is CHOP. They were born in a CHOP hospital and have only seen CHOP pediatricians from this office for their entire lives so don't believe the hype they literally treat everyone this awful. I didn't get a call back until 3pm! And when I requested an appointment I was told that if I could go to urgent care... There is literally no point to having a doctor who's only recommendation is to go to urgent care when you are sick. I am a fully grown adult person... I am aware emergency rooms exist and urgent care exists. I don't need that kind of help. This was not an emergency but is something that a doctor should look at to keep from it getting so bad I actually do need to take my child to the emergency room. I am switching from CHOP. These large hospital systems don't care about people... they care about money. I would hope that since they deal with children that would not be the case. Yet again my optimism was misplaced. Awful
