He has a wonderful sense of humor and never makes a person feel like just another body through the turnstile. Looking for a doctor let alone a good one these days is near impossible. I was very lucky to find…read morethis Clinic so close to home. I had followed a previous doctor to 4 different clinics around the city before she left for Toronto. My son and I did a meet and greet with Dr. Rana Al-bayati and found her to be very efficient. I have seen her now 5 or 6 times in the last year and half and even just the simplest of visits i.e. prescription refills, she takes the time to ask thorough questions. I had put off a few things like some blood work before my appointment and she won't just let you slide if she needs the results. I can procrastinate like the best of them but If I wanted to move on to what I wanted, I had to do what she needed. Very impressive! Maybe not at the moment (haha) My 95 years old mother was not feeling well one day and of course I panicked and did not want to take her to any walk-in centre, so I phoned the clinic and asked if we could just walk in. They said yes and I rushed down and because she was not a patient she was seen by the next available doctor when they were available. Dr. Alaa Ali checked over my mom and found she was stable, and we went for blood work. The results came in and we were notified to come in and now my mom has a treatment routine. If anyone wants to know she is doing very well for a woman of her age. We just came back from Los Cabos yeah. The receptionists require a shout out as they are excellent to deal with. This is clinic is small and I wanted to keep this info to myself but how can I when they are just super terrific.

Had an amazing Doctor here, but he left the experience went down hill. Went for knee pain, he…read morebasically convinced me to NOT ask for an MRI, several months later go in for same problem and he reads from HIS notes that I REFUSED an MRI. Claim ends up thru WCB, after literally months of back and forth trying to get them to simply give the file to WCB I find out that in my file he had written down the wrong knee having issues! Apparently they can't accept email, everything has to be by fax?! They said they never got faxes, never got letters, even after I could confirm that they did. Go get the MRI, I call them a week later to ask if they got it... they tell me no, but the doctor will call me right after they get it... the next day WCB calls they got it on the Friday before and have already had a doctor write a report. I give Excel 3 more days, I call and they lie to me saying they only got the MRI yesterday! Doctor still hasn't called. It's not just a single doctor, it seems they have their front staff lying to clients and very hard to work with. I emailed them asking if they would take a complaint before I posted this.... they haven't bother to respond.

Can't recommend at all…read more I made an appointment to have a back injury examined. I arrived early, yet waited an hour AFTER my scheduled appointment time had passed before my name was called. Then I'm taken back to one of the patients' rooms and have to wait another 30 minutes before the dr. comes in. After explaining my issue and history with back problems, and how I've never had any sort of scan performed to get a deeper understanding of what might be the cause, I'm told to take muscle relaxants, watch physio videos on YouTube, and wait to see what happens. Wow, I should've been a doctor... Even after confirming my name when he walked in, the dr mistakenly pulls up another patient's information on his computer and is glancing at that throughout the visit, mentioning how I've been on another medication previously for pain (which is not correct because he's not looking at my file). All this is realized as I'm walking to the pharmacy afterwards however, as I was ultimately handed a prescription with someone else's name and insurance info on it. So, I've just been told about another patient's personal medical history with pain meds and have the ability to use his name and insurance to get a prescription... By this point the dr had already began assisting another patient, so I'm told by staff to wait AGAIN until he's finished so the prescription can be corrected!! Brilliant. Decided I had enough of my time wasted and walked out. Stunned by the mismanagement and inefficiency of this clinic.

I've been a patient there for a while now. Doctors, nurses, pharmacists are amazing. My family Dr…read more is very humane. She listens to you, she's very through. I am very happy with her. But the clinic has 2 problems. Says it's a Walk In but they do everything in their power not to let you walk in. I don't mind waiting, I inderstand they're busy and I need to wait when I walk in. But sometimes unforeseen health issues can happen over night or the day before and you need a walk in. The second problem is one of the receptionists. Bad attitude, you always feel like you're a nuisance she can't wait to get rid of. Very cold and detached, borderline rude. Once she made me state outloud I had a UTI infront of a patient.. She kept asking me to say it louder .Has zero sensibility. She has nothing to do in the healthcare business. If it wasn't for the receptionist and the lack of walk in access, this clinic would be a 5 star.

I was rejected as a patient and told to go see a different doctor somewhere else. Ridichlous policy. I do not recommend this medical clinic. Covid symptoms include cough, sore throat etc. In other words, symptoms present in a myriad of illnesses, not just Covid. I have had a cough for years, and told doctor that. I was also recently tested for covid and it was negative. Dear Braeside Medical, your absolute priority, especially given the current circumstances, should be to help anyone that turns to you for help. You should not be adopting "policies" that excuse you from doing the thing that you went to medical school for. Imagine if all doctors in Canada adopted your "policy".
