Matty the bartender is an absolute delight. His welcoming and charming personality delights all the guests. Matty even won over a sulky teenager in our party with his humor and a killer mocktail. Love that this place is so welcoming to dogs. When it is not too hot outside, delightful to sit by the creek. You can hunt for the few free street parking spaces, or pay $7+tip for valet, or self-park behind the restaurant for $7. I do wish the menu on the website was kept up to date. Pedalers Fork in Calabasas is such a gem. Andrea was my server, and she was amazing. She listened to exactly what I was looking for and knew the perfect recommendation when I described it. The Johnny Cakes were incredible -- made with banana, walnut, coconut, sunflower seeds, topped with a blueberry-ginger compote and maple syrup. OMG, yes, that is so damn good. Such a unique combination of flavors and absolutely delicious! I love the entire menu here, and I especially love that there's a café in the front where you can grab some quick things to go. My latte was one of the best coffees I've had in such a long time -- the gentleman who made it roasts the beans himself, and you can really taste the care that goes into it. Thank you! Pedalers Fork also has a collaboration with Canyon, the only U.S. retail location for the bike brand. It's such a cool and unique addition that makes this place stand out even more. The menu is amazing, and I can't wait to come back for Pedalers Taqueria. From what I've seen, the menu looks fantastic. I made reservations ahead of time because my friends and I were coming here on a Sunday for lunch, after we stop by the Calabasas farmers market (which is right next-door!), but actually the weight if you didn't have a reservation it's about 15 minutes anyway! I am so glad I came here because the vibe was wonderful, and the staff was amazing! Our waiter Taylor was so kind and funny, and Taylor really helps at the vibe for our meal! The food was wonderful as well! My salmon salad was delicious, with the salmon being so soft and flavorful! My husband loves burgers, and I truly regard him as a burger, connoisseur at this point, and he really liked the burger that he got from this restaurant as well! He's a Texan so he's used to bigger portions and particular about his burgers, and this one got his sample of approval! Our friends got the barbecue plate, which they thought was a 3.8 out of five -- which is still pretty good given that this is not a barbecue joint! We loved Pedaler's Fork. I had forgotten about this place and it was recommended to us for lunch. We love the fact that they have a great breakfast and lunch menu, and there's a lot of great options to choose from. I ordered the brisket hash which was amazing. Super flavorful, with plenty of smoky, tender brisket, perfectly seasoned potatoes, poached, eggs, and vegetables in a cast-iron skillet. Absolutely delicious. My wife had the breakfast tacos which were some of the best I've tried. Large portion and the perfect smooth of everything, meaning not too saucy or heavy. They were excellent. Our service was also excellent and it's a very nice location. Their outside seating makes you feel like you're not in the city, but rather a mountain retreat. Pretty generous portion size, plenty of salmon and the eggs were perfectly cooked with an equally perfect toasted English muffin (not too hard, not too stuffy, literally the exact texture to soak up all of the yolk and add that creaminess to the dish alongside the hollandaise). Very popular spot in a cute kind of gold rush-western style town. Recommend you reserve a seat but we had a group of 5 at 10am on a Sunday and only waited 10 minutes so who knows? You might get lucky. I actually really liked the weird gold rush tweed hipster design and energy. Also kind of hippie vibes. Maybe I should have been born a millennial. Sat outside under a heater (thank goodness, because it was a bit chilly). Dog-friendly, which may or may not be to your liking. Server was very nice, refilled water frequently, food came out quickly. Came in post work out at the local stairs just as they opened and it was perfect timing. There is seating inside and outside, it was a cool morning and we preferred inside but still felt the draft come in. We were seated promptly and our drinks order was taken though I might suggest handing a drink menu out, I understand there is a coffee shop in the shared space (that gives off a wonderful freshly brewed coffee aroma) but our server just listed off a few drinks off the top of her head and that's what we chose from. We also ordered and were happy to receive our food promptly as we looked upon other tables receiving their food we definitely want to go back to try the plates we didn't order they looked amazing. I had a wonderfully seasoned avocado toast with an egg on top. Chilaquiles were also ordered at our table and if the salsa isn't spicy enough you can ask for their habanero sauce on the side. The last plate was a build your own omelette, it was kind of boring but ordered that way as the person that ordered is on a calorie deficit. The side of potatoes were delicious and well seasoned. For drinks we ordered black coffee, chai latte with oatmilk and an orange juice. My only complaint about my chai latte was that it was a bit over on the sweet side so maybe I'll ask for no sugar next time. Overall everything was delicious and will definitely go back. Came here recently with mom for dinner. I've long seen PF but this was my first time here. We overall really liked the food, although I wish my Market salad had a few more citrus segments in it. The gravy that accompanied mom's mashed potatoes and chicken had a lemony twist to it and we both remarked how refreshing and original that was. This would be a good first date spot because it is both casual and intimate, perfect for not feeling up tight but still wanting to get to know each other. They have heaters for the outdoor seats so if you run cold, don't hesitate to ask them to turn it on. While managing the bar, she was simultaneously supporting other staff, handling mobile order issues, and keeping an eye on guests waiting on food at nearby tables--all with calm confidence, efficiency, and a genuine smile. The place was extremely busy, yet she never looked flustered or short with anyone. What stood out most was watching her sacrifice her own break because the kitchen was backed up and guests needed support. Looked pretty tho! My fiancé and future mother in law had pancakes and crab cake Benedict. I tried the pancakes after my salad cuz I wanted something yummy to top off the bland meal - she warned me they weren't that great and kind of dry. Sadly, she wasn't wrong those were $20 or so... didn't have any fruit or anything to make it special. ihop may have been better.... The crab cake Benedict for $28 was "ok". We have zero problem paying that money for a meal that's delicious but we would have had better luck staying home and cooking in. We recently had our wedding and reception at Pedalers Fork and can't say enough great things about the business, Gideon, the manager and the staff! From the moment we started planning, Gideon was receptive and helpful. The wedding out on the patio was beautiful with lovely trees and flowers in the background. We had an open bar followed by a buffet dinner for about 35 guests. The price was extremely reasonable and the food was positively delicious!! This used to be my go to spot. Unfortunately, food quality has declined. Maybe it's a supply chain thing, but prices are going up and value going down. Most notably, the vegan kale Caesar -- one of the best salads I had ever had in my life -- has been reduced to a run of the mill salad you'd find everywhere. I attached photos. So sad we used to love this place we come every year and specifically terrible food this time. The eggs weren't cooked. The brisket was mostly fat. The waiter never showed up. I had asked three times for a waiter when they did show up they never brought our coffee and then threw a coffee cup at the table after we paid our bill to pour it into the paper cup by ourselves. They also never brought the birthday cake that I asked for when I made the reservation. I won't be back. I was taken by surprise with the Nutella croissant, I didn't realize that it came salted on top and I just wasn't expecting that. If you don't like salty I'd say you're better off with the butter croissant. The baristas were friendly, and helped wake me up early in the morning. There can be lines sometimes to order coffee at the bar so if you're not in a rush, it might be best to just talk to the host and grab a table and enjoy your meal.
