I love independent bicycle shops. More than any other kind of shop, I make a point of using…read moreindependent dealers because the difference in service between these and places like Halfords is immense. I took my bike in for a service here. Not only was it much cheaper than I expected, but they did such a good job it felt like I was riding a new bike. While the bike was in, I bought a pannier rack and got them to fit it while doing the service, something they did without hint of trying to ask for a few extra quid. Highly recommended.

I am an amateur runner just starting out but they also seem to cater for all runners including the much more advanced than me! This didnt stop them advising me on what shoes were appropriate for me without making me feel like I wasnt important to them, as some athletic shops do if you are not part of the elite. They also have a rather impresive running machine that they can film you to chech your running style.
