Our guide Marie was great, she gave us plenty of time to learn the Segways controls, gave the kids plenty of time to ride around at the stops, offer to take pictures of us, answered any questions we had and gave us great advice on where to eat and explore in the city after our tour. The stops were great and we learned a lot about the city that we wouldn't have without this tour. They also want to make sure your comfortable with a break half-way through the tour and plenty of places to fill up your water bottle. After doing several tours via Segway, bike or guide, I found Pedal Power to be just okay compared to my other experiences. While riding a bike through Vienna is a fantastic way to see the city, I found the people at Pedal Power to be somewhat indifferent to the customers. Although the tour was informative and the bikes were decent, there was something amiss with their customer service. I would recommend a bike tour through Vienna. But if I were to do it again, I would find someone else to use. read more

I rarely take on tours of any kind because they are often restricted and present a linear experience but the one I took with Giovanni on the wine and bike tour was absolutely amazing! He gives Pedal Power the biggest reason why I would rebook another tour. We saw vineyards and a cellar that there is absolute no way I could have discovered on my own. As an Embryologist, I research almost everything I do and I would give this tour, if you request Giovanni my highest recommendation. You could call me a bike tour addict. You'd be exaggerating, but you could. Whenever I'm in a new city I like to go on a quick bike tour to get my bearings and work out the best things to go and see in more detail later on. So I like to think I know a good tour when I see it. Unfortunately this wasn't a particularly good tour. Firstly, we booked through a different company and found ourselves with Pedal Power. Not a problem but it meant every single bike tourist in Vienna was on the same tour. We were split into groups but there were still 15 of us following one guide. Not great in terms of safety, sticking together, or being able to hear or ask questions. Secondly, I don't think we did too well with our guide. She kept shouting information as we were cycling along meaning only the first 3-4 people could hear. She also kept starting her segments as soon as she'd stopped rather than waiting for everyone to be there. I think most people missed half the tour. There was also an odd moment where we stopped at the gates of the park with the golden statue of Strauss, we could see him in the distance, but she hurried us all along rather than stopping to have a look. Finally, there were no helmets offered, so if safety is a big thing for you, I'd probably avoid. Having said that, I did enjoy the tour and it was lovely to spend time in the sun and enjoy Vienna's cycle paths. If I were going again though, I'd consider taking a guidebook, hiring one of the city bikes available on the streets, and taking my time. read more

We did the evening bicycle tour tonight which was three hours. It was a nice way to see Vienna. However I was disappointed with our tour guide and a bit with the staff. In the past week we did a Segway tour of Berlin and of Prague, a food tour of Prague, and trust me a lot more tours. I have been very happy with the previous tour guides because they had personality, were engaging, and spoke very well. Tonight on our bicycle tour, all those elements were lacking. Also his perspective on some things came off pretty arrogantly. read more

The guide was not helpful. My husband was feeling dizzy and I had to " loudly" suggest that he help my husband. Rather than work with him the guide was very quick to " get rid of him". The company would not refund the 89 euro. The guide still had the other four members of our family. They are not customer service oriented. I would look for a different Segway company in Vienna. We spent 12 hours on Segways in the Czech Republic and the two guides for 5 of us made sure my husband was comfortable and confident on the machine. I would highly recommend I love Segways in Prague. We rented bikes from Pedal Power at the end of March 2013. These guys are great! They provided us (2 adults, kids ages 10,10 and 7) with very good bicycles, helmets, locks, maps and all sort of advises about where to go, how long will it take us etc. They were very flexible and welcoming about the time, as we returned slightly late. It is not cheap, but for us it was worth every penny. Thanks Pedal Power for a wonderful experience that will be cherished in our memories for many years! read more

Rented 2 road/race bikes and 2 hybrid bikes from Pedal Power for a 3 day self-guided trip to the Wachau Valley. The bikes were very good and we were equipped with everything we needed from helmets to repair kits and maps. Best thing at Pedal Power though is the staff - multi-lingual, friendly, capable, relaxed, super helpful. They put our own pedals on the bikes so we could use our cleats, made careful adjustments to everyone's bikes, and gave us tips on transportation and places to ride. Even let us take the bikes home the evening before our rental started so we could get going early the next morning. Good road bikes aren't easy to rent so I highly recommend giving Pedal Power a try. read more
