We arrived 7 minutes late due to the traffic on i30 and was told due to policy changes that have been posted on the website we could not be seen. The front desk manager, Carina was very rude and stood over the representative assisting me. The manager raised her voice and told us we could not be seen, and they recently took away the 10-minute grace period. I told her I was not aware of that, and she proceeded to direct me to the company website (which by the way noted that they allowed a 10 -minute grace period). When I told her that the website allowed for a 10-minute grace period, she raised her voice in a demeaning manor, stating " oh well, they told me it was updated." I asked for a doctor's note and was told that we could not have one because we were not seen. I informed her I believe that this was doctors' discretion, and we have a great relationship with her. I was just at the clinic the day prior with my other son. She proceeded to tell me she would call the police I have never felt to devalued in my life. Service was unacceptable. To treat people disadvantageously because they belong to a given health insurance group/race/social economic status is inherently unfair and disrespectful. I have never been so humiliated. It is such a disgrace in front of children to threaten the police in this country to a black person you can't verbalize or have your way. Carina's behavior was unjust. Culture, inclusion and diversity training would be a great asset the next patient would not have to feel like us!

Dr. RoseBerry has 20+ years of experience and I really liked her. Dr Able also seemed very knowledgable and approachable. With some many physicians I have had very reasonable experience with obtaining appointments. However, the nurse / doctor calls backs seems bit lengthy at 3+ hours. Also, the doctors alternate days so your doc won't be in the office every day. The nurses have all been happy and nice (which helps). Isabel that handles insurance and is sometimes at the desk is extremely nice and will go out of her way to help.

Sweet and playful with kids goes along way when they aren't feeling good. The doctors I have encountered have all taken their time and been very methodical with the exam and diagnosis. This approach does result in longer wait times than most urgent cares. The minute clinic is usually a lot faster for an ear infection or minor illness. The lobby wait time is usually less but the wait in the room can easily reach an hour. Salt in the wound is that they don't e-prescribe. After waiting 1.5 hours to drop off at the pharmacy and wait some more is a little exhausting.
