I had a very disappointing experience at the FTCE Pearson testing location in Melbourne. The manager, Donna, was extremely rude, dismissive, and unwilling to show any compassion or patience during a stressful situation. When I arrived for my exam, I was asked to provide identification, which I did. Unfortunately, my maiden name and married name did not match the system. I immediately tried to resolve the issue by having my husband bring my marriage certificate so I would not lose my exam appointment or the money I paid. Instead of showing understanding or trying to help, Donna bluntly told me he had "10 minutes" to get there or I would lose both my exam and my money, and that I could "take it up with an 800 number." I completely understand that employees must follow policies, but there is a huge difference between doing your job and treating people with kindness, professionalism, and respect. As a manager, I would expect someone in that position to handle situations with more empathy and willingness to assist, especially when people are already nervous and stressed about taking important exams. I do not recommend this location based on my experience, and I sincerely hope improvements are made in how test-takers are treated in the future. read more

I took my test there yesterday. My appointment was at 3:00. I walked through the door at 2:58. I was immediately greeted with two extremely rude employees who completely belittled me and humiliated me right before my test for being "late". Needless to say, I was completely distracted and distraught during my test. I will NOT be returning to this testing center. DO BETTER! read more

no sign on the door huge complex and only place with no sign on door and not only that but they don't answer their phone. I was late because I had to walk around and look for the place because they wouldn't answer the phone. Then the guy was RUDE as ever talking about we give you directions when you schedule but I DID NOT SCHEDULE MY JOB DID! How can a facility not have a working phone number that you can call them to talk to somebody there. This is ridiculous.

I just took my PMP test at this location yesterday. Considering Covid. They place was run great. Felt comfortable. If I need to test again I would go for this location for sure. The staff were great!! read more

Melbourne's Pearson Vue Test Center (along with other locations) is used by the state of Florida for state licensing exams for a variety of professions. You will have to be pre-approved by the DBPR for your specific exam and schedule a testing appointment online or by phone. Rules during testing are strict and are communicated well. Staff at this location are courteous and the testing process was smooth. Although I reside in Central Florida, this site was the only one with a wide selection of testing times that did not require me to wait a month. Each time I searched for testing dates, I found an appointment time at the location the same week. Easy to find using GPS and plentiful parking as it is located in a large plaza. See my attached photo for help finding the entrance. The suite will be the last door on the left. Clean restrooms are in the hallway. This site was an hour drive for me but was worth it! read more

I took my Real Estate sales associates exam here for the state twice & have failed both times. The third time I went to take it the staff informed me I needed a mask, never having needed a mask previously I said I wasn't aware because it hadn't been mandated previously. I was a little annoyed at this point over the issue but I asked if they had one for me and they said "no we don't but there's a family dollar in the parking lot." I go and get a mask come back to do my exam. During my exam they were talking and laughing so loudly I could hear them through the "soundproof" glass and the ear muffs they provide to cancel our sound, noting they also had their masks off unless someone else was in the lobby. I pull my mask down past my nose because I wear glasses and it kept getting fogged up, I continued with my exam for over an hour! The older lady in the front who's name is Paula and who's mask was also completely off previously, rudely interrupted my exam (mind you that I paid $37 to take) to ask me to pull my mask over my nose, I pull it up and sigh, she then taps on my shoulder again and asked if there was a problem... "I said yes my glasses keep fogging up and now you're interrupting me when I'm trying to focus." She then says "we can disqualify you if there is an issue." I told her "I'm trying to take my exam, my mask is where it's supposed to be at like you had asked, I'm almost done, leave me alone" I then come out and she hands me my paper and I asked her for her name and she told me and then says she filed a complaint on me as well. Never have I ever experienced such craziness over a mask when there's already "sneeze shields" on top of a divider between you and the person next to you. read more
