Keiser University is the worst I have every had experience with. I carry 2 Masters and have…read moreattended several colleges during my education. I am also an Instructor since 2012 at different colleges. I am helping my granddaughter to try to get through their Sonography Program but they make it nearly impossible to afford. I have never experienced where the Instructors could require $300 to $400 worth of new books every 3-4 weeks and without warning, they spring it on the students and they are supposed to have the books the next day. What happened to giving a detailed book list at the beginning of a program and sticking to it so the student can be prepared for the expense and have the books. Even at one time, the Instructor decided after they students had all purchased the texts that he wanted to use the new updated version, so he required students to go purchase the new book. In my world as an Instructor I want my students to be successful, so I do everything I can to help them prepare. All I have seen and heard from this program is trying to set the students up to fail and even relishing in their failure. And if the students go to the Dean, his take is that is up to the Program. Is there no one at Keiser who is for the student or is it all about the money and the Instructors and no care for the student. This Program has nearly bankrupted me trying to help my single parent granddaughter have a way to support herself and my great grandson. I would never ever recommend Keiser University to anyone. This has been the absolute worst experience.

I was 5 months in and would have been finished this past December. Their excuses was because the healthcare was always changing. Yes, I know that it is but when have we sprouted a third leg. They are just after your money at this school. The even refused to let me pick up where I left off when there policy states when a student fails, they have to wait 4 months to pick it back up. I never failed.

Eastern Florida used to be Brevard Community College - it was a great value education for the…read moremoney. After becoming EFSC it became a wannabe 4 year university in all the worst ways. Paid parking permits were implemented as a form of revenue. They write tickets if you don't get their parking pass. Why you may ask? Money. Pure and simple. The parking lots were already established long before these fees. There are far too many spaces at all of the campuses for the student population, so it's not about scarcity. If you end up with a parking ticket after paying for your classes, they will still send automated threatening messages to you saying you may be dropped and tacking on extra arbitrary late fees just because you haven't paid them 20$. Don't want to pay for your classes until they start? Too bad, you get a late fee. The customer experience is terrible. Making it seem like straight extortion the entire way through. The place has become a pay to play college and lost it's local charm. So glad I got my AA years ago and only had to take a few classes. Terrible place. Terrible quality professors. Department chairs that don't answer their phones/emails/or return calls. Most online classes are paying to teach yourself a topic. The quality of education has gone down, and the price has gone up. Make it make sense.

Some expect that they will hand you your degree! Sorry, this is not the place for you. They strive for perfection! They expect you to be self sufficient and responsible for turning in all course work on time and following the syllabus. I preferred the Palm Bay Campus. I need some other courses to keep up in my field and plan on taking them online.

The school has grown by leaps and bounds not only in size but also in quality of education due to increased funding. The Lake Nona location is somewhat of an architectural revelation of neo classical modern architecture of mixing breaks wood metal glass into a true joy for the eyes to see. The inside of the school is no less stellar than the outside. I'll be at a bar from Large location, it is an excellent school and it serves The community locally well for now. Valencia did take the initiative and forgot to purchase excess of land around the school so there is ample room for parking as well as additional expansion of the school. My only concern is that they did not initially build the school large enough to handle the huge population growth here in the lake Nona area. With that all being said the staff is stellar, I know many of the instructors there personally and there's a great deal of pride taken by the school in this new location.

I am told that the mornings are the best time to visit the Answer Center, and I agree. There was a very short wait and the atmosphere and environment was superbly stress free. This campus is located in the growing Lake Nona area right next to Lake Nona High and is state of the art and very clean. I would give them 5 stars, but there are not many classes offered at this location. Bummer for me because I live in Lake Nona, but at least I was able to transfer in at this location no muss, no fuss.
