New leadership is subpar and very legalistic. The school has gone downhill and will not improve until the leadership changes

The academics are accelerated, even in comparison to other private schools in the county, and as a result, both of my kids were extremely prepared to compete for admission into top universities. They were accepted into EACH university to which they'd applied, plus they received scholarship offers too! After years of hard work and dedication, it was a great feeling to see our kids in the position to 'review all their offers' and make THEIR choice about their future! 'Education' has always been the holy grail in our house though, since our kids were old enough to walk and talk. If parents are willing to set the bar for their kids, Holy Trinity can provide the education and the guidance that will let them 'grab that bar!' The school is small enough that there's a 'hometown feel' and yet big enough to compete in the real world. My kids are now friends with people who once were their teachers, which is a testament to the genuine care provided by HTEA teachers. If you're considering an HTEA education for your kids, take the time to check-out the credentials of the educators at this school --- you'll be AMAZED at the levels of education attained by the teachers and even the office staff! (VERY impressive on ANY level!) We were a two-parent family, who made sacrifices to pay the full tuition for our kids, year after year, because their education was our top priority, as we know it's a steppingstone to success and the best lives possible. So while, 'yes' the tuition cost is high at HTEA, the return on the investment is one of the best you'll ever see! And besides, who can put a value on your kids' futures?

Let me tell you what that means to the visitors, no concessions no water, food or anything else. I don't have kids in school anymore, I just enjoy going to the games. What a turnoff this was to me.

Didn't know you could review high schools... that's kind of weird. Here goes. It's a wonderful…read moreschool with lots of really good teachers who all seem to actually care - with the exception of one math teacher with a vicious southern accent, who should be a southern belle rather than a teacher. Their music and band programs are top-notch, run by a wonderful group of teachers and assistants. Their ACAD and business academy are very cool educational alternatives, offering the chance to become Adobe or Office certified before you leave high school. The Dental program is also kick-butt, where you could theoretically graduate and become a dental hygienist right out of high school. Very forward-thinking opportunities here. Now the downsides. Their auditorium is lackluster and resembles a bad 70s memory. The stage is small, seating is limited (and extremely uncomfortable), and the design is non-stadium. Bayside High and even freakin' Eau Gallie have GORGEOUS auditoriums! Viera? Very lame. The football stadium is all metal seating and disappointing also, especially after visiting Melbourne, Cocoa, Cocoa Beach, and even Palm Bay. The stadium sound system sucks too. You can avoid the football parking fees by parking behind the school board building. All in all, it's a decent school. It's got its share of problem children, like all schools do, but Viera seems to have things under control.
