It really looks nice. Of all the campuses at BCC, this one seems to have received most of the growth in recent years. I never had any problems at this campus. Staff and teachers were friendly for the most part. It is a very easy campus to navigate. They offer most of the courses one would need for their degree at this one campus. I received mine in Computer Information Technology and this campus offered most of the classes I needed. Parking is pretty good, except it pushes you further south when the lot gets full. Once again, like the Melbourne campus, it can be a trek if you have a class on the north side of the campus and are forced to park further south. But this wasn't a problem most of the time for me. I handled most of my financial aid paperwork at this campus. They worked with me and really walked me through the process. I've heard horror stories from students attending other colleges about their financial aid experiences. I'm glad it wasn't like that for me at BCC. So yeah, the Palm Bay campus is nice. It's growing. It still has a smaller feel to it, but it looks really nice. The teachers are good. The education is sound. Classes are affordable. Hours are flexible. What more could you ask for from a community college?

The academics are accelerated, even in comparison to other private schools in the county, and as a result, both of my kids were extremely prepared to compete for admission into top universities. They were accepted into EACH university to which they'd applied, plus they received scholarship offers too! After years of hard work and dedication, it was a great feeling to see our kids in the position to 'review all their offers' and make THEIR choice about their future! 'Education' has always been the holy grail in our house though, since our kids were old enough to walk and talk. If parents are willing to set the bar for their kids, Holy Trinity can provide the education and the guidance that will let them 'grab that bar!' The school is small enough that there's a 'hometown feel' and yet big enough to compete in the real world. My kids are now friends with people who once were their teachers, which is a testament to the genuine care provided by HTEA teachers. If you're considering an HTEA education for your kids, take the time to check-out the credentials of the educators at this school --- you'll be AMAZED at the levels of education attained by the teachers and even the office staff! (VERY impressive on ANY level!) We were a two-parent family, who made sacrifices to pay the full tuition for our kids, year after year, because their education was our top priority, as we know it's a steppingstone to success and the best lives possible. The one and only disappointment is that FIT does not have a football team. The registrar's office replied quickly and was very helpful. I contacted the Vet center, and they are all helpful and answer all my questions -- and there are times when I am behind schedule due to taking classes and working full time, the Vet center contacts me to make sure I have done my part. When I have contacted the Finance office, saying I am waiting for approval from the VA, the Finance office is helpful, patient, and professional. I had questions before I even applied to FIT, and I was able to have a Zoom meeting with the advisor and the dean, and I have had several conversations with the advisor -- he is always helpful. I am working on a doctorate, and at the beginning, he is always supportive. I was told he is there to help me succeed. The fundamental research, stats, and qualitative professors are absolutely amazing. The librarians are superb. There have been times or two that I was online, asking for help, and the librarians were online with me for up to an hour. This is an outstanding university: highly recommend!!!

I didn't even have access to my student email for a long time, which made it nearly impossible to stay on top of things. My assigned advisor never introduced herself, never checked in, and never provided any help with registration or degree planning. I had to contact Student Support just to find out who my advisor even was -- and only after I reached out myself did she finally send me my degree plan. Until then, I had absolutely no idea what classes I was supposed to take. Every department I interacted with dropped the ball in one way or another. Communication is poor, processes are confusing, and there's zero proactive support for students. Compared to other universities I've attended, this was by far the most disorganized and disappointing experience.

It definitely helped that my best friend went there with me, and I learned a lot from Indian Harbor. I was part of their swim team for about three years, and through that I learned discipline and made lifetime friendships. I loved everything about it. From the Mako Markets that were held every Friday, to the constant field trips to The King Center; I just loved it. The teachers there were top notch. The ones that made the biggest impression on me were Mrs. Jedlicka, Mrs. Silverthorn, Mrs. Wright, Coach Noggle, and Mrs. Griffin. There were many others as well, but those are the few that stand out most furtively in my memories. I moved away from the school in third grade, not by my choice. My family and I moved out to Las Vegas about six years ago, and my education continued in the Montessori Method. It was this year that opened my eyes to the greatness of this method. I moved to my first public school this year, and it was mediocre compared to the two great Montessori's I've attended. I will be forever thankful for the love of learning that I inherited from them. For anyone considering this facility, please know that despite the name, it is a regular daycare disguised as a learning academy but in reality there is no learning going on just a regular unprofessional daycare The financial burden here is outrageous, especially given the poor quality of care. A recurring issue we faced was their illness policy and unfair billing. I would send my daughter to daycare on a Wednesday, she would catch something from another child, and by Thursday, they would call me to come pick her up because she was sick. She would then have to miss the following day. Despite not being allowed to leave my child there, they still charged me full price for her attendance. This happened on multiple occasions, to the point where I was paying for far more days than my daughter was actually able to attend. Even more concerning than the cost was the lack of supervision and safety. There was an incident where my child came home with claw marks all over her arms. When I brought this to the teacher's attention, nobody on staff was aware of her injuries, nor had anyone called to let us know something had happened. A week later, she came home with the exact same injuries to her arms. It wasn't until I made a major issue out of it that I was finally able to request to speak to the director, who promised an investigation. Having two separate instances where my child came home injured without a single phone call or incident report made is completely unacceptable. I was finally so fed up with the lack of communication, safety, and fairness that I unenrolled my kid. I would not recommend Vera Children's Academy to any parent looking for a safe and reliable environment for their child.
