I made an appointment online and the following day (today) I went. I got to my appointment about thirty minutes early but I was able to walk right in. The entire process was almost too easy. I gave them prints of both hands and a photo to verify it was me. The only downside is that I'm in CODIS forever so hopefully a murder doesn't get pinned on me, but that's my own internal fears. Anyway, the woman was beyond nice and got me in and out in no time. I was given a piece of paper with reference numbers for everything regarding the visit to prove I was printed so I can move forward with my licensing. A total breeze. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Her school offered tutoring but in no way shape or form could present the curriculum or plan. Her confidence was low and every parent teacher meeting left us feeling helpless since we were doing everything we could to boost skills at home. A close friend of our reccomended Kumon at the Tower Shops after hearing our daughter was doing summer school instead of camp. We started her immediatly the next week and we were astonished at the mountains she had overcome during the summer. When the school year began she was not even phased at her classwork and in our household Kumon became mandatory before homework. You know "eat the frog first" kind of thinking. It is a lot of work on top of homework and at times we were concerned if she was working to hard. Than she started getting faster and faster at mathematical computations. She began reading harder and harder books. Her handwriting improved. Most importantly she became disciplined all her own. Looking forward to her next Kumon buck and getting dissapointed when she had not completed the work. She was confident and assertive in her classroom. The owner requires a sit down every six months and has an open appointment policy whenever we feel as though our daughter is struggling. She definitely a no nonsense woman but was always very helpful when we needed. As an unconventional family with mt husband being asian and adopted our latin and caucasian daughter we never experienced racism? My mathematics and reading skills have improved because of the personalized educational approach, which has also helped me develop my self-control, time management, and discipline. I've been able to excel in school and lay a solid basis for future study thanks to the gradual advancement and constant practice. Sylvan promised a "program" to help my son through honors Math in 9th grade, but we now realized that their tutors were not equipped to help him from his "C" average. Despite their promise of a study program, learning techniques and the like, their tutors were unable to complete my son's homework or help him at all. He brought an "F" for a homework that had been revised by the tutor and after all the work brought home a sequence of "F"'s. We then realized that we had spend $1200 for babysitting, where he was one of a group of students doing his own homework and little assistance. In the end we recouped $480 of the $1200 deposit - not including the $170 "assessment" fee, which was simply lost.

So when I came across Xceed, she was opened to visit the campus and surprisingly, she liked it a lot. So we decided to enroll her even though she was super anxious but we figured that Xceed would be a great way to help her transition back into a regular school (at some point). Well, that was 2022 and now it's 2025! She is starting her Senior year at Xceed. She has made lovely friends. Teachers and staff are great and super supportive. Xceed is a great format. It's a cross between home school and a brick and mortar - but has enough structure that it emulates a college vibe. It's what school should be :)

Went there on an appointment yesterday, 6/5/2026 for my 15+ year old son to take his learner's…read morepermit exam. I paid $74.55 for this service. I stepped away for a few moments as this was taking some time to do. I was called back to the office and presented with a fraudulent document with my son's PII that says there was already proof of a passed test from earlier, just under the wrong SSN? At that point, they should have refunded my money and given me better guidance on how to proceed with the Florida DHSMV, but rather, they pushed my son into ANOTHER test, without the promised review time, and promptly failed him. I informed the woman up front (Hispanic middle-aged female) hat this was not a very good business practice. She became very indignant with me and speaking over me in Spanish (which I also speak) to her other co-workers and proceeded to inform an off-site manager at the other location of this situation. I asked for her name, and she refused to give it to me. Soon after, I received another phone call on my cell phone from 305-974-5045. The man on the other line, in broken English, said he was the Manager at the Miami Lakes location and proceed to argue with me for over 5 minutes. He rudely implied that this was entirely my fault and my son did not deserve to drive. Meanwhile, my son was pulled back in for the promised 1 hour and 45-minute video training but was dismissed by the "instructors" because they wanted to close early. I took my son and left the premises without this being properly resolved at approximately 5:50 pm yesterday. I reported this behavior on the Square app as well. All they did was misleading and condescending behavior toward my son and I. I'm reporting this "agency" to the Florida DHSMV and my bank and will dispute this charge when it reconciles. Parents: DO NOT, say again, DO NOT use this agency to get your kids their learner's permits or driver's licenses.
