We struggled like this until we were discharged from the hospital at 11 o'clock on Monday morning. I don't believe that anyone can still afford to take their children to Kumon. I called them and told them. To my surprise, one teacher told me that my child could get free tutoring due to illness. I gladly accepted. When I came to Kumon today, I asked when I could make up classes for free, but a teacher at the front desk asked me to show a certificate issued by the hospital. To prove that my son did go to the ER. This behavior makes me feel insulted and ridiculous! If my son only has vomiting and diarrhea and does not see a doctor or go to the hospital, do I have to bring my child in front of them to prove that my child is sick? I didn't care that there would be this free make-up lesson. But I felt insulted. Insulting me and my children.

The teacher is amazing and we saw the difference in our son at home. He came home showing us that he learned how to peel an orange himself and he became more independent overall. The only reason we decided to leave is thw distance. We live in Dania Beach and with the traffic and school zones in the morning, too much time was being taken for traveling.
