I had a great testing experience here and highly recommend it. The staff are all super nice and helpful in getting you checked in and started on your exam. It is a smaller location, so I can see the spots filling up fast. There are probably 20 seats in total, so I think the lower volume makes less traffic of testgoers and an overall great experience. This test center is located in downtown Boston and is very accessible by bus or train (only a few minutes walk from the downtown crossing train station). My experience here has always been positive. The staff here (David and Debbie) are helpful, likable, and kind. I've also never had any issues with the computers and connectivity here while taking my exams (unlike my experience at the Pearson Back Bay location where the connection occasionally got laggy and scared me to death when a couple system error message popped up in the middle of my exam!) The only downside about this test center is that there's only a single bathroom available for each gender in the building that is shared with other tenants. This might be an issue if you're taking a timed exam but i've personally never had an issue with this since i never had to use the bathroom in the middle of an exam. I had a very positive experience taking my professional exam here yesterday. The location is very easy to find in downtown Boston. I recommend taking an Uber or public transport here as parking is expensive and difficult to find. They are COVID conscious and having hand sanitizer and adequate precautions in place. They do require wearing a mask the entire time you're there. The initial check in process and for breaks is quick and pain free. They don't do TSA pat downs or wanding. I got there early for my exam and they let me start right away. They do provide a small locker for valuables. There's also a water dispenser with plastic cups. During my test, it was a quiet environment and I was able to focus fully on my exam. They provide single use disposable ear plugs if you ask for them. The staff understand that we're all there to take an exam so they were all very nice and friendly. read more

I had a great experience with this testing center. The staff were courteous and very professional. They aimed to move things along but in a nice way. Unfortunately the check in requires a lot of verification, scanning and picture taking so each person takes about 5 minutes. This is especially true if you are dealing with people who don't listen to instructions. Be sure to head there early. When they recommend arrive 30 min before they mean it! The little seating area is tiny with only about 6 seats. But then again, the testing room is pretty small so it doesn't get too crowded. The area was really quiet, especially since I took my exam on a Saturday. But that is also a caveat that if you are there on a weekend the area is desolate and most shops are closed so don't expect to buy food! read more

This is a pretty small testing center. The staff were all very nice and professional. They all certainly moved as quickly as possible. You go up to the second floor and the testing center is literally in front of the elevator. Unfortunately, the check in process takes about 5 mins per person due to the need to verify and scan so be sure to go early, especially if you are taking a popular exam that is only offered once a year like mine was! They have lockers for you and a coat rack. The waiting area is super tiny. I didn't get a chance to see the bathrooms but they are key access only. The computer worked fine, there were no issues at all. They offered noise canceling headphones which was nice. I was only able to take a quick glance at the testing room but I think there were about 15-20 computers total. read more

Excellent location, 10 min walk from Park St station. Clean test taking center. The senior gentleman and lady running the center are very kind/supportive ie. telling you to "breathe" before walking into your exam, and wishing you the best as you leave. What's impressive is they provide ear plugs, noise cancelling head phones, tissues, and jackets. It's a cubicle style test taking center. No problems with noise with the noise cancelling head set despite being a room full of other test takers. Simple calculator and a ringed booklet of laminated sheets provided for math work. For the both instances I was here, I arrived 30 mins early and they allowed me to start earlier-- their policy is as along as there are empty seats available, you can begin whenever. read more

I have had the unfortunate experience of having to take many standardized computer tests. I'm learning it's part of many professions and is something I will have to deal with every 7-8 years or so for as long as I work. This place contained the most pleasant testing experience I have had. It's a small testing space, one room with less than 20 computers. The person checking in people was welcoming and friendly. The person who took you back and set up your computer was really nice. They were very accommodating to the two nursing mothers who needed to pump and even offered use of their refrigerator. Their lockers were roomy enough for a full-sized backpack and lunch tote and there were plenty of thick coat hangers. Bathrooms were close by and private. No coat hooks anywhere in there, though, so check in and lock up your stuff first. The soundproofing headsets were soft and comfy on my ears. Located just a couple blocks from the Downtown Crossing Chauncy St exit, I definitely wasn't going to mess with driving/parking here. If I had to take more board exams in Boston, I'd be happy to bring them more business. read more

If possible you should test here. I've taken two exams here, the EMT certification exam a few years ago and the MCAT a few days ago, and had an excellent experience both time. The two guys who run the center have a very calming demeanor and truly care about a good testing experience. The MCAT has two 10-minute breaks during which you have to go through check-out and check-in procedures, and they made sure that these procedures went as quickly as possible. This is a smaller testing center, only around 12-15 seats from what I remember, so it might be hard to find a seat here. But if you have the option, you should absolutely test here. read more

After months of studying, test day arrived. The last time I was this anxious was when I was 16 years old (drivers test, duh). This center was within easy walking distance of the Downtown Crossing T stop. I made it to the test center by 11:15 for my 12PM appointment expecting to have to wait for 45 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised when I was told I could take it immediately. The two men who were running the check-in and proctor operations were extremely calm, which was refreshing, and delivered the test instructions in a very clear and thorough way. When they said "good luck" right before seating me it honestly seemed like they meant it. Every bit of good vibes was welcome. The testing room was a good test-taking environment. About 12-15 partitioned computer work-spaces wrapped around the U-shaped wall. There were noise cancelling headphones available, however I stuck with the tried-and-true ear plugs. No comment on the actual test - if you're looking for GMAT help on yelp I think you should hold off on scheduling your test :) When it comes time to schedule though, I would highly recommend this place. This test center put all the conditions in place to allow me to walk out, 3.5 hours later, having beat my target score by 30 points. read more

Stay away from this test center unless you want to pay another $1000 or $250 to have your test day shaken to bits by problems. After a malfunctioning fingerprint scanner wouldn't allow me into the test room.. I was seated next to 2 very noisy test takers with anger issues.. banging on the keyboard and smashing fists on the desks. The room is CRAMMED and even with earplugs it wasn't enough to take a smile test in peace and quiet. I raised my hand and showed the Manager that the keyboard smashing persons on the left and right of me were interrupting my exam.. and her reaction was, "TOO BAD!" Try to appeal to Pearson... Pearson will tell you TOO BAD. I tried to use the dry marker to write on the board, "Can you please stop banging" but the markers didn't work. As the time ticked away on my exam.. I was sure that when the management reviewed the video tapes of the events.. that I would surely be granted a re-test. But NOPE.. THANK YOU PEARSON for stealing my $500. You are so big and powerful and protected by the institutions that use you that you remain free to RIP others off.. read more

I was here to take my NCLEX exam and I would HIGHLY recommend this place. The staff was absolutely amazing and somehow, my level of nervousness/anxiety was kept to a minimum thanks to the calm demeanor of the 2 staff members I encountered. I took part of the MTEL exam at the Downtown Pearson location. Joe and David who check you in are THE CUTEST older gentlemen. They are so warm and kind, and could not have been any sweeter. They asked me what kind of teacher I am becoming, where I'm in school, etc. with genuine interest. The room I took the test in was very quiet, and probably about half full. I had no issues at all with noisy neighbors, and the site even provides noise cancelling headphones - which I did use, to drown out any distractions. I never thought I'd write a review for a test center, but these two men were so good I had to spread the news about them. I will definitely go back to this location for the other parts of my exam. read more

I'm currently taken my NREMT Written exam at this test location . I'm on my 5th attempt . Almost passed it last time and before. The staff here are amazing, calm, and after calmly reviewing the protocols of the test center rules and regulations, they will ask if you have any questions or need anything. I will strongly recommend coming here to this location . Also the test center is in a great location in Boston too. Parking not saw great, but very Nice places to walk around outside and to explore . read more

I took the MTEL at this testing center and passed my exam! The gentlemen checking in the test takers were very kind and thoughtful. They made sure that nothing was rushed and everything was done correctly. They were also not rude or made me feel anxious at all. The testing center was quiet, clean, and the bathrooms were right outside, which is convenient when your test has unscheduled breaks. They give you a good size locker for your things and even provide extra ear plugs. very easy to get here on the T too. I arrived for my licensure exam nervous, frantic, disoriented, you know - all of the above when you're getting ready to take an insanely expensive exam. The facilities were top notch (clean, comfortable, quiet), but its the staff I was particularly impressed with: the gentlemen I worked with were patient, kind, efficient, and knowledgeable as they prepared me for the exam (they even provided some much-needed cheerleading and reassurance.) When I needed assistance during the exam they were timely and helpful. At the end of my exam, they congratulated me warmly on passing. The one in Boston may be nice but don't take one in E Providence the 2 attendents at the counter acted like they were doing you a favor by letting you take a test at thier center almost to the point of being rude. I am taking my next exam in Worcester anticipating a better experience. read more
