But finally I got the call that the customized doors and windows were ready to install. Then Joe and Pacheco arrived to begin work. What skillful, knowledgeable, competent, and considerate workers! They worked methodically and steadily. They came across a few problems but in every case resolved them and the windows and doors fit perfectly. And they covered furniture and belongings with plastic and swept and vacuumed after completing each window, door, or room. The result is beautiful. And of course secure. Long story short that…read moreI can't explain very well anyway, my roof was made of outdated materials that he couldn't remember the name of (so, I can't research it on my own, now) and he was pretty sure it was no longer available. He was also pretty sure "the owner" wouldn't take the job for that reason. However, he said he needed about 4 days to get back to me so he could research its availability. I called 5 days later and left a message. Now it's a week and I still haven't heard back. Can't speak about their work but I can speak to their level of professionalism: Poor. One more thing. Although we both wore masks, he used his as a chin guard once he was on the roof. I guess it wouldn't occur to him that aerosols from his nose could have been raining down on me. I stepped further away, but typically, it's hard to hear me when I'm wearing a mask as I tend to wear extra layers.
