It took them 3.5 hours to do one crown My appt was at 1 and didn't even get me in the chair until 1:30 They took so long to get to the final part that the numbing was going away and instead of asking of the numbing was still working they just started working which caused extreme pain. I have had a crown done in the past there and it wasn't nearly as miserable or inefficient. The worst dental experience I have had in my life. The office is beautiful, staff were great and kind. My experience was wonderful until Dr Kaur came in and did my exam and took individual photos of my teeth. She started finding things wrong with my teeth (that did not exist) I recently had work done at another dental office and I was completely happy with my teeth. Nothing was bothering me or hurting me. I went in for a cleaning - but their office requires an exam before a cleaning - fine but it is so obvious that she was just trying to make money off me. I go went to check out with the girl upfront and the next available cleaning with 4 months out with a hygienist. THEN the receptionist quoted me $8,000 AFTER INSURANCE for the work the doctor recommended I have redone I was floored, I was so turned off I never even scheduled my cleaning. This place is awful. Would not recommend. I currently go to Salinas Valley Dental and they said I don't need ANYTHING done or redone and they did my cleaning the same visit :) Don't waste your time like I did. read more

The best dentist in Salinas that I've ever been to. Very professional and personable service. It was a long time since I last went to the dentist and I was embarrassed by what possibly could've built up over the years, but I was welcomed with open arms and no judgement. I also didn't have dental insurance but they made sure I was able to work with their payment plans which not many places do. I really appreciate how comfortable they make you feel. The office is very modern, clean, and they even have music playing throughout the building to make you feel more at ease during your visit. I will definitely be coming here from now on. If you are like me, and so many others out there, you hate dentist. It took me awhile to deal with a few problem teeth and decided to try Pearl because they took Care Credit. This was the best decision I could have made. Today I finished a root canal and crown that took all of about 50 minutes in the chair over two visits, and same day porcelain crown. Dr. Dhillon was incredibly gentle, efficient and polite. I will be returning as frequently as I can until the rest of my mouth looks brand new - I have found my dentist! I Have nothing but great things to say about this place!! My husband was working out of town, far from home and had a severe dental emergency. Not only did the staff at pearl dental assist him over the phone and tell him to head on over, they saw him the same day, and performed surgery on his mouth all within a matter of an hour of him calling. The customer service here is beyond great, they treated him great! They did not accept our insurance because we are out of area, but the cash price that he had to pay was the lowest I have seen, and the work was beyond exceptional. To the staff here thank you for caring and taking my husband on short notice, and providing great service to him. The staff in this office is very unprofessional, their training is very poor. They are very rude to the patients. They should know that the reason of why they have a Job is because of us the "Patients" They never answer the phone in the proper manner. Paulina feels very superior like she is the owner NOT knowing that we the patients pay her salary. Also Patty is another one with low knowledge.
