It was a bittersweet moment leaving my apartment and turning in my keys! I am definitely going to miss my apartment!! I was there for the last 2 years and everything about it was amazing! The amenities were so amazing always! The pool and gym were amazing. The clubhouse was amazing. The computer room where i homeschooled and tutored so many kids was sooo amazing!! My little senior dog absolutely loved the whole building! He knew his way around every where and everyone was always so sweet to him! We will definitely miss chasing each other down the halls! The staff was always sooooo friendly and amazing!!! I never had any issue that wasn't quickly resolved!! Everyone was always just soooo amazing! Maintenance friends were always so incredibly friendly and happy to chat! There were always so many fun events like breakfast with Santa! The office staff was always also beyond excellent! Valet Living... OMG JUST AMAZING. I swear i miss it already! If I hadnt bought a house, i would have stayed for the rest of my life. I honestly loved my apartment that much! Visitors have parking but to stay a little safer it's better if they park on the floor they are visiting. 2nd time the same truck has been broken into and apartment management won't do anything. I don't not recommend this property. Not safe and management should be more willing to help their over paying renters. read more

I moved here in August 2017 and cannot be happier with my choice to move here! The office staff are all iamazing & Alejandra is a lifesaver! The property is quiet and so well maintained. I LOVE it here....City Centre is within walking distance but without the crowds/noises! If you are looking for your next home.....this is it! November 2018....I'm still here and I still LOVE! I've been living at Pearl CityCentre for about a month now, and I am very pleased to write my 4 star review. Perhaps I shall update this when my lease is over, but for now, I feel comfortable writing this so that individuals looking for more reviews about their potential new home can find them. I'll start by saying that Pearl CityCentre is my very first apartment away from home. In my search for the perfect apartment, I looked everywhere! And I do mean, everywhere. I searched in price ranges as low as $500, and as expensive as $3,000, from Cinco Ranch to East Houston...just so that I could be well educated in apartment types, reviews, and everything I could possibly need to know. Perks of Pearl CityCentre: it's true, there is a free shuttle to CityCentre on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The driver is named Abraham and is very nice and always available. Additionally, everything about this apartment complex feels like a hotel. There is a pool with tanning chairs IN the pool, there is a large entertainment room with pool tables, plush chairs, a kitchen, and a very large TV. You can use this whenever, and can also reserve it for $150 at any point if you want to host your own party in it. Same goes for the luxurious, spacious, and beautiful sky lounge on the 7th floor. Downside to the skylounge: I've discovered that my key stops working after 9:00 pm. Wish I could get in there for a few late dinners every now and then. Bummer. There is a business lounge which is perfect for college students who need computers/printers for homework, or for business individuals working from home. There is also an executive boardroom styled room for business meetings or you can reserve for family dinners/events as well. The apartment: I have a one bedroom, A-1 style. It's breathtakingly beautiful, and is the perfect size. Even with minimal decoration, you feel like you are living in a resort of some sort, which I'll admit, takes some getting used to. I have a large garden tub with arm rests that I can't get over. I don't know how I will ever return to normal life should I ever move. My balcony also faces the main street between the two Pearl Residences, and I have a great view of the Memorial Middle School baseball events, and the passerby going towards CityCentre. Side note: you definitely want to shut your blinds at night if you live facing that side! Everyone can see everything from across the way, especially if you are on the same level as the apartment across the street from you. You'd be surprised the things that I have unintentionally witnessed while casually sitting on my balcony. Now for the downers: I read a review on here that the leasing office stops caring about you once you move in. I wouldn't go as far as to say that, but I definitely see a lack of urgency and diligence on matters. For example, I turned into my paper for the walk through with items needing to be addressed 48 hours after my move in. The leasing agent I turned my paper into said, "We will fill out a work order and have someone fix the issues on Monday." Granted, the "issues" were...a loose toilet paper holder, and low water pressure in the refrigerator door, however, every time my toilet paper falls off the holder, I am reminded that one month later, no one has come to address those "issues." A second example that irritates me is that I placed several broken trash bags that were used to help me move my clothes from my house into the apartment into my trash can- balled up. At the time, I didn't own any trash bags, and the night before, the valet trash didn't have a problem taking my packing materials. The second night, they took a picture of my trashcan and placed an "Observation report" outside my door threatening to fine me $25 if I placed "trash" into the can again with a trash bag. Plot twist: the trash was the trash bags. Whoops. Additionally, there is a dog that lives on my floor that barks, well, yips, more accurately at all hours. Don't get me wrong, this is the quietest place I have ever been to, but not even the concrete walls cannot block out that dog. Lastly, I have a problem with the security guard who cursed me out when I asked her to stop blocking the handicapped spot with her security vehicle. She has prevented both myself and disabled family members from parking in the spot towards the front of the building multiple times, with no regard for feelings hurt, or inconveniences caused. Granted, this area is for potential residents during the day, however, these incidences happened well after the office had closed, and when those spots begin to fill up with visitors in the evening. Overall, I would recommend Pearl CityCentre to anyone. It's worth what you pay, and the leasing process is super easy. I have Stefani to thank for that; she's a sweetheart! I think there are some minor fixes that can be improved on, but that's what reviews like this are for! read more

Have been living at this property for 2 months, and I have to say I made a mistake by moving here. I have also read the other reviews, and yes the place is new, and nice. Pool is great, gym is good and adequate, there is still a new feeling to overall ambiance, and true there is a shuttle going back and forth to the City Centre. So how can a place like this be worth 1 star? Well management is interested in one thing and one thing only: leasing unleased apartments and nothing else. From the moment you sign the lease, you are irrelevant. Most importantly security is terrible and my Jeep Wrangler got broken into, on the 7th floor of "secured" garage. I complained to management, and nobody from the office has contacted me. Nobody!!!! I sent 10 emails and spoke to a leasing agent in person about this and I did not even get acknowledgment. I did receive automated e-mail from one of the people on the e-mail list, so e-mails did not go to spam folder. And for the record I followed up every day for 5 days. Nothing!!!! One of the reasons for relaxed security is that the the doors to secure area which are supposedly under lock are not really locked, so various people have access to the property. Second issue is with people who are visiting their friends to smoke weed on the roof and in the apartments in this supposedly "smoke free" property! Yes smoking is prohibited by the lease agreement but management is not enforcing it. At all! Most importantly my neighbors are smoking weed in such quantities that the whole wing of the building smells just about every weekend. I complained in person and wrote e-mails. Again no acknowledgment. I had guests from out of town who were wondering what kind of property I am living in! With this in mind- there are strange people coming and going at odd times of the day, and I am just curious if some of these people decided to ransack my car at one point? Likely I will never know as I cannot get a response from management let alone request the video from security camera. Then there is cigarette smoking on the stairwell where management left notes to smokers to kindly clean their cigarette butts. So much for that lease agreement. If you read it this far, I advise you to think twice before renting here and perhaps wait on new owner and certainly better management. read more

I have lived here for over two years (just moved out yesterday), and I wanted to leave a review for future residents. I loved this place!! I am only moving out, because I need more space. The front office staff is amazing. I have dealt with Sherif, Alejandra, Danny, Stephanie, and most recently Emily (I think that's the new person's name). They are always pleasant to deal with, and I've never had any issues that weren't resolved timely. The complex is absolutely beautiful, conveniently located, quiet, and well-maintained. The amenities are icing on the cake! It can get a little loud in the summer around the pool area, but that's to be expected. :) The few cons... 1) The garage is super "tight". Two cars can barely pass each other (going in opposite directions). I have "almost" been hit multiple times. They installed mirrors to help, but the garage is just too small/narrow. 2) There's no call box or any way for your visitors to conveniently gain access to your unit. You have to actually go down and escort them up. It's frustrating, but I guess it provides a level of safety. 3) As a resident who fulfilled two leasing terms with no issues, I expected some type of perk or concession (even if only minor) when I inquired about transferring to a larger apartment. Unfortunately, I was treated as if I had just walked into the office to complete a new application. I was a little disappointed, but I know that's just business. Overall, it is a great place to live. My husband and I moved from The Woodlands down to Pearl City Centre apartments 3 months ago and couldn't be more pleased. The management quite often goes beyond the call of duty to make sure things run smoothly; they are always super professional and extremely friendly. We checked out several apartment buildings at City Centre and it quickly became clear that Pearl was a quantum leap in both quality and value. These brand new apartments have a gorgeous contemporary design. They need to show off these stunning apartments more on their website as it really doesn't do them justice. It literally feels like resort living here with the exquisite amenities. The building also has its own social media platform that helps you meet other residents with similar interests (being new to apartment living, I'm not sure if this is common). They also have fun general events to help people connect. We couldn't be happier living here especially with all the parks across the street and around the corner to walk our dog. We are very glad that someone recommended we check this place out before we signed a lease elsewhere. read more

I have lived at Pearl City Centre over a year. And my first year I absolutely loved it. No problems and in the perfect location. After my first year I renewed my lease for another 14 months because I enjoyed my experience so much, but I made a huge mistake. A week after I renewed my lease started the big shower issues my unit is having. This is the 3rd or 4th time that my shower is being repaired without any warning and I am unable to use my shower. One time I was not able to shower for over a week! Finally I demanded that something had to be done because I needed to shower. Everyone is always nice, but it's just an apology. Not ever doing something to make it right. I work in customer service and making it right for your customer is how you come to a solution. After this year I will not be renewing my lease. I just do not agree with how this complex manages issues with its residents. I think filling people in on the place in where they live is more than fair. Other than that there isn't many issues other than extremely noisey neighbors that just moved in and I can hear them all hours of the night doing things I wish I didn't have to hear them doing. Not trying to tell people don't live here, but wanted to give an honest review of my experience so far. I will be doing my research into the property groups that have the complexes next time to see how they handle their various locations. read more

Gorgeous, Luxurious, and the perfect location. Seventh floor sky lounge overlooking CITYCENTRE and the mesmerizing Texas sunsets. Really feels like you're staying at an upscale hotel...but permanently. Atleast that's how I feel. Apartment is super spacious with great amenities. From the chic decor to my poolside view... Soundproof walls, etc. Never had any problems with management. Plus, Free shuttle to city centre every 30 min. Highly recommend. read more

The Pearl has a real sense of community and the amenities are endless. This being a fairly new community, it is wonderful. This apartment is a great transition from a beautiful home in Boerne to Houston. It has high-end features such as gas stove, and continuous hot water. It is a beautiful apartment. The only disappointment I have, it is suppose to be a smoke-free property and all I see is cigarettes butts at the doorways of the garage. read more

Walls are thin, high turnover of staff, burglaries, staff is not responsive to resident complaints, low security in parking garage with shady activity, people that climb on the roof to smoke weed, gas grills and TVs in pool area work 25% of the time, office will fine you for leaving your garbage out early for valet service and leave photos as proof for their fee but it will take 4 months to get your maintenance request completed, garage elevator will work approximately 50% of the time, no AC in garage elevator so you will sweat in the summer months trying to get to your car, pet bags and gym water rarely stocked, peloton bikes are awesome but the internet doesn't support the stream and they often don't work, fire alarms to evacuate building in the middle of the night several times during the winter months, cigarette butts in the stairwell, non responsive emergency line, no direct email or phone line to any staff member to ensure you can not get a hold of them to ask for clarification on their nickle and diming statements. We lived here for over a year with daily inconveniences. When we moved out, we were charged nearly 300$ for new carpeting in one small bedroom in our apartment. Glad to be moved out. read more
