However, I do admit that Daniel was very friendly and didnt pressure us at all, which was refreshing. We test drove about 6 cars and decided on 2. One we wanted, and a back up. We took the first car to Midas and they found about two grand worth of problems. The second car was so bad that the mechanic stopped half way through the inspection. Midas didnt charge us for the last inspection because it was in such bad condition. We also had to put gas in both cars, and the last car needed a jump because the battery was older than the car. That tells me they out an old used battery in the car just to cut corners. The worst part is, they do not negotiate much below the asking price. Even if it is in horrible condition. They overprice cars, make it seem like the car is in "good condition" and then they break down. When you try to get a hold of them, no one responds! You pretty much have to hunt them down. They do not keep their word. They gave us a specific date to pick up our car because it broke down after a week of purchase and it's still not ready! We were looking at a green 2005 Dodge Caravan and the test drive seemed to have gone well and we were willing to buy pending an inspection. We booked an inspection with Midas, but these guys insisted we bring it to THEIR mechanic. Um...no thanks, this isnt my first rodeo. When we were gonna walk away from the deal, they finally caved and let us take it to Midas. Well...I am SO glad we did! Midas found a ton of things wrong with the vehicle that the dealers claimed was in perfect working order. Right off the bat, the battery needed to be replaced immediately. The breaks and rotors needed to be replaced. The computer codes were recently cleared and were not responding! We almost lost 4 grand on it. Never going there for a car, and am recommending to all family ans friends to avoid this place like the plague!

Check engine light came on and they gladly took it in to their shop and replaced the mass air flow sensor, only to have the light come on again before I left. Their lead mechanic let me go with him to drive it with their computer hooked up to the truck and was very helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. At that point, he recommended a new fuel pump, which they ordered that day. They installed the new fuel Pump and also found one of the spark plug wires was bad and grounding out as well. They replaced ALL of my plug wires as a courtesy! Not gonna lie, I was Leary about purchasing a vehicle here at first, but we are thoroughly pleased with the OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE from their service center!!! The car first thing I noticed while on the test drive was oil pressure was very low! No oil light indicator. I turned around brought it back and let the salesman know. he said the shop would look at it and repair anything further. He called the next day and notified me the oil pressure sensor was bad and they replaced the part. inquired about a loan for the vehicle and they wouldn't due to price of the vehicle. At this point the hard inquiry exists on a car they knew wouldn't be eligible for a loan due to the asking price. my first experience here and most likely my last.

He provided all the service documentation he had on each vehicle and was forthcoming with the information. We felt absolutely no pressure to purchase same day.
