I got an adjustment and it was the most painful adjustment that I've ever had 10 hrs. later lasting for several days. I have had a lower back issue for years and had many adjustments in the past without having this much pain. His adjustment was unlike anything that any other chiropractor has done to relieve my back pain in the past to include others in his practice and definitely made things worse, not better! I thought this practice would be great based on my first few visits but I would not recommend this practice based on my experience with Dr. Middleton.

So I called Maroon's office in hope I can stop the rabbit hole of pain a pain dr.'s cortisone shots and or surgery. The first visit he went through my results with the images and my complaint/s then starting to work on the area that needed attention, he was straight forward and told me I will try my best and we can hope for the best, however there is a chance it may not work and at that point I will let you know as to not have you waste time or money. Within one visit I was still not back, but could tell that I chose the correct path and place. I must have gone two or three times before I would consider myself back to at least 85% better, now days are completely great (no pain) and at worst back to the 85%. I now know I made the correct choice at the correct time. I still go every once and awhile if I feel as though I pushed myself too much. I need to add that I truly was nervous and kept thinking how can I live in pain like this my whole life, I wouldn't get to play with my daughter nor work on without constant pain. I don't know how he did it but I am grateful and my mind is at ease now, so much that I cancelled my pain dr.'s apt. I would now consider Maroon a friend not only due to the help but because he is also, honest, to the point and connects with patients. Just drove over 16 hours last week and came home to cut down some trees and complete an assembly of a 400lb piece of equipment. my coworker referred me to him. Thanks to the both of them I am in a happier place Good luck!

I don't take on all new patients but you I wanted because you're going to test all 39 years of my experience" and w'll get you in here 3x/wk and see where you're at- either 75% better or 10% better and we'll re-assess and see where we're at." Perfect, I thought! I'm so excited! so excited I was sharing this news with everyone I encountered. I went twice, two days in a row, and was scheduled for a 3rd day in a row but I canceled due to new pain. I have never had lower back pain until he said my lower back was mid-aligned and I trusted him and his professional opinions and I laid in his hands. That night, after day 2, i was on the floor crying. I felt like the wind was knocked out of me and like I was going to throw up. throbbing pulsing pain. chat gpt told me to go to the emergency room. I messaged the office about my new pain, asked how to get out of the pain and went to bed instead of the ER. the following day, i called to get communication on this. she recommended I come in to be adjusted- keep the appointment. alarm bells in my head were going off- no-this is wrong- don't go. I was trusting they knew what was best for me. (5 days later to today-it still hurts btw...it shouldn't hurt more than one day) and I had an appointment today that I just came from. I just tried asking him well, maybe it didn't need to be aligned and you did and so it got angry and needs to heal. he reccomended that I come back tomorro. I tried pushing the opinions of others out of my head. as I was sharing my excitement about this new journey, I was warmed-NO. PAUL IS A FARM. he gets people in and out in and out, in and out. today i tried understanding what was happening and why he was suggesting multiple days in a row- even when working out you need to rest those muscles to let the body heal. adjust. I was mentioning this and he got defensive. arms went up and across his body giving closed off body language and he started getting labored breathing. I apologized for questioning his experience however at the same time I only get one body and I'm just trying to get information and do what's best for it. I need to communicate to better understand. this upset him. he didn't like my questiones and responded very condescending. told me "ok fine don't come tomorrow, don't get better" i was shocked at how he was handling my questions about pain. not once did I say he aligned me incorrectly but he was defensive regardless and even said I didn't do it wrong. I had to explain I never thought that, only maybe my lower back didn't need an alignment. again-he only smiled and continued to cross his arms. I felt like he just wanted my insurance money. this interaction solidified that concern. I then tried better understanding the situation at the front desk, lisa, she couldn't care less that I had new pain, caused from the alignmen. not to mention I said my left collarbone was funky. he aligned the right collarbone. when I asked about ok what about the left side where it hurts? he said, "oh. I thought you said the right-good thing this isn't surgery"
