When I came to BPM, I could hardly stand more than 20-30 minutes at a time and could not do even the most menial of tasks without severe pain and muscle spasms. Fast forward 18 months and the pain is well-controlled and I am able to keep most of the muscle spasms at bay. My day-to-day living has improved and I believe that it is due to the therapy I have received from Boise Pain Management. Not only has he worked miracles on me, he is simply a nice man. I don't think you will find another doctor who is this caring and passionate about their patients. I highly recommend giving Boise Pain Management a try. I know I am glad I did.

So you can imagine my surprise when I met Dr. Vance. I went in for a small problem, and then quickly realized that he could solve the issues that I had grown so accustomed to I didn't even think they could be changed. That's right! I had given up on experiencing any kind of change with things like: energy level, moods, sleeplessness, immune system. Right away, Dr. Vance suggested we try tackling some of the bigger problems. I was skeptical, but had nothing to lose--so I said, "Sure, why not!" -Months later, I've got my energy back. -I don't get sick all the time--and if I do catch a bug, it's NBD. -I'm sleeping!! And waking up ready for the day! -I'm in control of my moods, instead of the other way around! ;) Dr. Vance uses a myriad of techniques to address symptoms. He uses lab reports as a starting point, but is more concerned about how the patient FEELS and FUNCTIONS than the numbers on a chart. Dr. Vance has educated me throughout the process, so I know exactly what's going on and why, and I know how to adjust protocols to fix any new problems. WHAT?! Dr. Vance explains information simply, without pretending he's the only one in the room smart enough to understand it! The facility is easy to find, conveniently located, offers plenty of parking, and the support staff is fantastic. Thank you so much, Dr. Vance! You're a Game Changer for your patients!

As Adams prepared to give me a knee injection, I insisted that he look at the X-rays first. Adams got mad about that and left the room saying it would take 15 minutes to get the X-rays. Why not look at available X-rays? That is what they are for. I had enough of TERRIBLE DOCTOR Adams and left the office. I will find another doctor. I urge everyone to find another doctor.

The bad: They don't care about you and won't help you if you have a bad reaction/experience. My treatments were going well until I had a horrendous trip that left me emotionally scarred. When I tried to talk to the staff including Nykol, I was basically just told to suck it up and go to the psych ward. That seems like a very dismissive way to treat someone who's paying money for your services. It almost just seems that the emotional ramifications of taking ketamine are just kinda ignored, like if the treatment causes you emotional distress, the won't be there for you they'll just shrug. Nurses will often try to pressure you into upping your dosage from the last session even if you don't want to Overall a good service but definitely left a sour taste in my mouth

This is the best place to get Ketamine therapy in Boise!…read more Your experience begins the moment you walk in the door... the home is quiet and serene, with comfortable furniture and comforts like tea provided for you. You enter into the cool and calm environment, and you are instantly put at ease. The staff greet you promptly and gently, and provide an air of relaxation from the moment you enter. There are several different rooms to experience, and each has their own flavor and viewpoints. Consistent throughout the experience, though, are comfortable chairs that recline, weighted blankets to ease anxiety, water, and soothing music. Some rooms have more light, while others are darker. I prefer the basement rooms as they are very dark and spacious, and feel almost womb-like and comforting. Nykol is the best possible provider for Ketamine therapy! She is an expert, but more than that, she is calm and patient, makes sure to answer all your questions, and remains there for you or out of your space, whichever you prefer. Her expertise sets you up quickly and thoroughly for your treatment, and she will help you choose the right scenario for your needs and goals. Nykol also gives you time to journal after your experience, or otherwise reflect on your thoughts and feelings, until you are ready to leave. She remains a presence there to assist as needed, and always remains calm and patient. In addition to setting the environment for your therapy, Nykol is a practiced medical professional that can answer all your questions and back up her statements with medical evidence. She is skilled with IV therapy and dosing, and is never flustered with questions or anxious patients. She works with you through your entire journey to make it all about you and your needs, and helps you achieve your goals. Finally, booking appointments is easy and simple, and the staff all communicate consistently and thoroughly. I am thankful that I found Nykol and her practice, and I recommend her practice to anyone thinking of Ketamine therapy.

Dr. Walton went well above and beyond to help me through a case of shingles that was incredibly painful, and I'm very grateful for the support and attention she provided during that time. Her team is also excellent -- friendly, professional, and clearly committed to making patients feel taken care of. One thing that really stands out about her clinic is the environment. It feels far more like a wellness retreat than a cold, clinical setting. Even when I'm receiving prolotherapy injections directly into bone tissue, I somehow leave feeling more relaxed than when I walked in. A lot of credit goes to the calming space, the staff, and Dr. Walton's bedside manner. I highly recommend Dr. Walton to anyone looking for a thoughtful and knowledgeable physician who takes a comprehensive approach to healing.

Sara Jo changed my life!…read more I suffered from severe back pain for almost 14 years after an accident. Most days I couldn't put my own pants, socks and boots on. I can walk, run, jump, exercise, dress myself, play with my kids, help a friend move, and on and on! Thank you Sara Jo! Every day I am thankful for the day we met.
