I have been working with Coach Chris for less then two months and already see such a difference. Not only is he putting together great workouts that are pushing me harder than I would do on my own (and helping me fit them in with my busy work schedule), but he is always accessible and constantly communicating with me to see how I am doing/checking in. Couldn't be happier and would highly recommend Peak Triathlon Coaching. read more

Meet the Business Owner: Colin C.
My name is Colin Cook and I am the head coach/founder of Peak Triathlon Coaching. I wanted to start coaching triathletes because I have a tremendous passion for triathlons and thirst for knowledge within the sport and generally in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. As a result, I want to share that knowledge and help others achieve their goals. I get a tremendous amount of satisfaction out of helping my clients fulfill their goals.

Back in 2012, I signed up for my first marathon with the ultimate goal of qualifying for Boston. stared at my Hal Higdon training plan for a couple of weeks and got really freaked out and decided to switch down to the half marathon. Soon after, I got in touch with Colin at Peak. We started working together in October for a (different) spring marathon. One of the many awesome things about working with him, is that he gives you workouts in blocks of four weeks so you don't see the whole thing right away and don't get overwhelmed!! He is a really personable guy, professional, easy to ask questions to, and he does call you on it (in a nice way!) when you screw up (like do a long run too fast ... etc.) I missed my qualifying time by less than 10 mins. the first time (I had severe leg cramping) but I worked with him the next year and reached my goal. After that, I wanted to work with him on my first 70.3. Due to financial reasons, I switched over to the less hands-on plan and worked with him that way for several years. All in all, he helped me train for four 70.3s and five marathons (including Boston) as well as many shorter distance races. I was improving all the time and won several awards. I would have liked to have continued with the full plan, but having the less hands on worked well for me, too, especially since I already had worked with him for awhile and knew how things worked. Because I like to run and do tris, his plans make things so easy. I mean, you can't just go out and easily find plans for training for a tri and a marathon at the same time. Running plans don't usually include structured cross training work on the bike or swim. So yes, I would definitely recommend Peak!! read more
