Her commitment…read moreto balanced learning, critical thinking and unique classroom structure was this parent's dream come true. My husband and I were frustrated with Arizona's large student/teacher ratio and wanted a personalized curriculum where they could receive one on one instruction. Both of our boys have very different learning needs and finding Megan was a godsend as she was able to tailor their education to each of them individually. Within weeks learning went from a daily struggle to something the boys became excited about (particularly the field trips and shorter time spent in class,) We saw an immediate change in their attitude toward learning. We all appreciated having more family time, no more rushing from school to sports practices, to homework, to bed. Megan allowed us the flexibility to travel as a family when it was convenient for US not a school calendar. Megan prepared our boys for the transition to Prep School where they both tested above grade level in all core subjects and are doing fantastic. Choosing Megan after researching alternative education options was one of the best decisions. We were all sad to move on but the adjustment had been exceptional. I must also add that we frequently receive compliments on our boy's manners and social skills which I absolutely credit Megan for. A++++ review for the program she has created.

I'll admit that none of the kids were particularly excited to start tutoring but what elementary kid would be? After four weeks in, all three of our kids look forward to tutoring days. My daughter needed tutoring, so we called Tutoring Club. I initially spoke with a gentleman named…read moreRyan, who quoted us a total of $300 to $400 a month for 3-4 hours a week. When we got there, Daniel greeted us, and we did both the assessment and planning appointments ( he had us waiting 10 minutes past our appointment time for the planning appointment) with him. We later found out that it wasn't $300-$400 a month for 4 hours a week, but rather $360 a month for 12 months, covering 96 hours, and they run a hard credit check. This means she would be getting 6 months of tutoring for basically $360 bi-weekly, which felt misleading. I'd rather go to a tutoring place that doesn't do a hard credit check and is upfront with their prices. Additionally, Daniel was rude when I tried to discuss my daughter's needs; he would cut me off and talk about himself not even addressing or acknowledging what I just mentioned about my daughter.

Huge kudos to The Vault Edutainment Hub founders, Ms. Allison Bosworth and Mrs. Livia Rice, on…read morecreating such a fabulous, fun, safe, enrichment concept. Both of these ladies are certified teachers and have years of experience in elementary education, so they know kids well... They are super hands-on and run the day-to-day operations at The Vault along with Game Master Andrew. Allison and Livia have taken their learnings and developed custom programs for kids grades K-5. The after school weekday sessions they offer include small group tutoring, homework clubs, monitored gaming and more. I believe they also have some extended gaming hours on Saturdays for kids grades K - 8. The Vault has quiet spaces, comfortable chairs, and a library full of books for reading. The colorful, spacious gaming area includes both electronic and non-electronic games. Snacks and drinks are available to the kids as well. The Vault is a newly opened business, and they are continuing to work through kinks with the website, evolve session and party packages based on customer requests, etc... but my kids have been enough times to love it already and so do I! I am having a lot of success with sending my kids to do homework first, followed by gaming. It's a win-win as I don't have to struggle with them to get their work done and they actually complete it with help when needed and then get rewarded by gaming time in a safe and supervised environment. Happy kids = happy parents, so I am super grateful, especially during these uncertain times! Important note: Space at The Vault is limited and you need to make a reservation in advance. To do so, you'll need to create an account and purchase a session or a package. Call the business phone number if you need any assistance doing so.
